Holy jumping Jesus' on a pogo stick, I could not believe these people. I took my car into these people because I got an ad for an oil change for them that was $19.95, now, normally I take my car into the Jiffy Lube on Powell Blvd because i personally know a couple of the guys who work there. Anyway, due to Bridgetown being so close to my house and the deal so good I decided to give them a shot. WHY SWEET BABY JESUS DID I DO THAT?? First, it took them over an hour to change my oil, a job that normally takes Jiffy Lube even on a day when all 3 bays are backed up with 4 cars EACH a max of one-hour INCLUDING waiting for the four cars in-front of me. "Why would it take them so long?" I wondered when the guy whom I paid the $25 (including the oil throw away charge, normal, I'm not complaining as I expected this), but oh well, I got something to eat down the street and walked around... came back after a hour and fifteen mins and guess what? MY CAR STILL WASN'T FINISHED. Really? There clearly was no rush this day, the bay looked empty the when I paid and again when I attempted to pick it up, so why was it taking so long?

So I walked all the way home, and wouldn't you know just as I got home I got a call that my car was ready. Neat. So I walked all the way back and there's this girl who I ask about my car, she looks at the paper and says "Oh, just wait ______ wants to talk to you."

"Umm.... OK," and I waited a little longer for a balding guy to come out. He explains to me that the last people who serviced my car had tightened the oil cap (? that screw on the bottom that drains your oil) so tight that it had stripped my threads and now i needed to buy a whole new oil pan, which he had already priced for me, at over $650 NOT INCLUDING THE LABOR. WHAAAAAAAT!?!?! I almost screamed at him if I could drive back to Jiffy Lube and give my "friends" an earful. "It'll drip a little, but you could PROBABLY (stressing the word) make it there and back safely."

I immediately drove to Jiffy Lube in a panic with visions of my oil pouring out all down 39th St and leaving a black line down Powell Blvd. I get to Jiffy Lube, find my friend and basically yell what I was told at him. He tells me he'll personally look at it, he's sorry, and that he'll replace my oil for free. Forty-five mins later he gets comes back up and says that yes sir it's threaded, but it looks like it was threaded because that last person had literally SHOVED my cap back into place and it took three guys to remove it!!! AWESOME. He told me it would just take a slightly larger cap and that he could rethread it no problem, "normally a $7 charge for this, but I'll give it to you free" ... did you hear that ripoffreport.com friends??? A SEVEN DOLLAR FIX THAT SOME IDIOT WAS GOING TO CHARGE ME $650 P-L-U-S MAN HOURS FOR!??!

My car is now fine and Bridgetown sends me 'reminders' for an oil change from their 'wonderful' crew. Like HELL.
