Bromalite/Fit Factory Bromalite & Fit Factory combined scam - Ripoff Internet
I made the HUGE mistake of ordering the Bromalite 'sample' offer. A week later a $69.95 charge hit my credit card, because I didn't see the fine print re: Cancelling! I called and after much discussion got a confirmation code for cancellation and one for a refund. Refund hasn't materialized yet!
Today, I noticed a charge of $29.95 on my card with a www.fit_fac.com address attached to it. I went online and from that site got the 800 number and called to dispute the charge. I was told that when I had bought the Bromalite, the offer said I'd be enrolled in online Fit Factory and charged the $29.95 if I did not cancel within 21 days!!!! ARGHH, this is a nightmare. I stayed on hold for quite a while to get this Cancelled. The guy "jeremy" kept repeating, I am putting through your cancellation and there will be "No further charges" on your acount. I got the confirmation number. Then I said, "How long will it be before I see the REFUND on my account. He then said, oh, I misunderstood, I thought we were doing a cancellation. I said we are DOING BOTH. He then processed the refund and gave me a confirmation number for that, saying it would be 10-15 days for that to show up on my account.
I have flagged my calendar to keep a check on these folks as they are obviously a SCAM and not trustworthy. I usually order my supplements through a reputable vitamin company and will Never do this again. I have reported this charge to my credit card ocmpany as an unauthorized charge.
