This was my personal dentist. Tooth #8 (a front tooth) has been decaying since 7/30/03 when one of his associate dentists slipped while working on #9 (sharpening the tooth for a crown) & (the other front tooth) & hit #8 with her drill bit creating a small indentation on the inside of #8.

This tooth will require a crown & possibly root canal to fix, through no fault of my own. I have mentioned this to Dr. Welsh, and the other staff members, and they have just turned their backs on it. One tech there spoke to me, but claimed it isn't their fault! I was there when it happened and examined my tooth after it ocurred. The indentation wasn't there prior to that appointment!

Dr. Welsh has never spoken to me regarding my dental care. From day one he took my "patient sheet," without discussing it with me, to mean I wanted crowns on all my teeth. I am sure he just saw $$ signs in his eyes. Yet when he mentioned to me that he would start at one end of my tooth row and just start to cut them out for crowns, I was horrified that he would assume that was what I wanted without discussing it with me. I told him, No! and to just work on one tooth at a time!

I think this he runs a a rip off dental office because I shouldn't be required to pay for a tooth someone else, one of HIS associates ruined, which later required additional work!

In addition, when he replaced a gold crown on a ceramic crowns, and when I asked for that gold crown (as I have asked other dentists in the past for), he said, "No, I think it would supplement the lab fees for the new crown."

His financial staff regularly attempted to double bill me, however, with my records and receipts they could not do so. I notified the local BBB and FTC via an internet complaint through their sites. No action has come from those two complaints.
