Complaint Review: BROWARD MOTORSPORTS - fort lauderdale Florida

To start, i just want to say i have never posted a negative report on any service or individual but the guys at BROWARD MOTOR SPORT ARE THE BIGGEST GROUP OF LYING, DISHONEST AND WORST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF KNOWING, and warn you to never buy a motorcycle or jetski from these people. I recently purchased a 4 wheel ATV from them, a Kawasaki Kfx 450 , which by the way is an amazing atv . The experience is one i will never forget and also is something you can only read about because it is downright dishonest and disgusting. The Term BAIT AND SWITCH is an understatement to say the least. I started by meeting with their sales person, Chico. Nice guy and all but he follows the Broward Motorsport's Policy on how to rip people off so he is just as much to blame. Anyway, started off looking for the Kawasaki 450. I visited the store twice to discuss the cost and go over those details. After we finalized the cost and all, he said it would take him a few days to get the financing approved. He called me 3 days later and told me i was approved for the financing and to come in that Friday to complete the papers and pick up the bike. On came in on friday and the nightmaer began. First i waited 2 hours just to start the paperwork. They didnt care about me, i was already a done deal, their aggressive sales guys just kept on selling on the floor and left me waiting. SAM, the owner, is the master sales, greedy, dishonest person of them all, do not trust him at all, he will tell you anything to get the sale. He could care less about anything other than the count for the weekend, how many sales were made. Anyway, 2 hours later and i begin the process which took 3 more hours. AFter spending the entire day at the store, and i thought the paperwork was done and i was going to the back to see my new motorcycle, which by the way my son was also looking forward to see and ride with me as well with his ATV, i was told that that ATV was not available and was already sold!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe this! AFter all that i went through i was told it was sold! Next thing, no apology, Chico and SAM , the owner, immediatly went into how the yamaha is a better bike and that i should just go ahead and buy this one and they continued alonng as if nothing happened. I was furious. There is so much more to say but i am trying to keep this short so i can tell you about my next experience which will be the next report about how they screwed me over with my jetski and kept it for the entire summer, dropped and cracked the hull and much more, but that is the next report. To conclude this , you would think i would just forget this place and look to buy somewhere else. Well i did call around and could not find this particular ATV. So later in the week they called me and said i could get it that Friday. I came in that Friday, again, spent the whole day completing paperwork and waiting for them to finish their sales attach, then i completed the transaction. In addition to all the crap they put me through, the end price was no where near the price we discussed. Be careful buying your motorcyclle or anything from them they will rip you off!. I paid almost $1,000 more than the agreed upon price. They are rip offs. Dont buy anything from them, also , read my report about their service department, when you buy a motorcycle or jetski you need to have it serviced and they CANT DO IT! They will rip you off on the cost and they will keep your bike for ever before you get it back. Beware!!!
