First off, it is very unfortunate that this site allows people to post things without any regard to fact checking. It's a shame that real companies have to defend themselves against the nonsense that can be posted on this site. Many of the complaints have no basis in fact and are a great place for disgruntled employees, competitors, and irrational customers to make any claims they want, whether they are true or not. They even rank the BBB as a rip off.oh well. I have never had to defend myself or my company, but in this case I feel I must. There a couple of facts that must be straightened out: 1. The only issue Mr. Maycock has was with a portion of a $499 marketing package he purchased from us that is valued at about $200. This is a marketing package that has received 4 and 5 star ratings on amazon.com. There are many great things written on this marketing package online. It is a great program for people who have no experience in starting an online business. With that said, Mr. Maycock did not ONCE call myself or my company to express his dissatisfaction with the program. 2. Mr. Maycock DID send an email to me threatening to be waiting for me when I least expected it. He did not attempt to solve this amicably. The first time I heard of his dissatisfaction was through an email that stated "I will be waiting for you when you least expect it." I don't know how anyone else would take this, but I took it as a personal threat against my well being. Again, Mr. Maycock DID NOT call me and try to resolve this. 3. We attempted on numerous occasions to call Mr. Maycock to resolve this unfortunate situation. He refuses to pick up the phone. We have also emailed him 3 separate times over the last week to call us so we can resolve the issue and he refuses. 4. Mr. Maycock at no time has expressed any dissatisfaction with his website or any other facet of the business. It was strictly about this one part of the marketing package, which we have already agreed to refund him in full if he is that unhappy. To use words like "scam" is an outrage. We are not in business to make people unhappy or "scam" people, as Mr. Maycock would have you believe. We are one of the few legitimate companies out there that offer people a real home based business opportunity. I am sorry Mr. Maycock was unhappy with the marketing program. If he had simply picked up a phone and let me know about his dissatisfaction, this would have easily been resolved with all parties happy. In fact, we would have refunded him the full amount of the marketing kit, no questions asked. When you start by sending threatening emails, posting on the internet that we are a scam, refuse to take our calls, and make unfounded threats of litigation, it puts us in a very tough position. The way Mr. Maycock handled the situation was unprofessional, immature and unnecessary. The original email he sent me was threatening and at times unlawful. Everyone knows the saying, "You can't make everyone happy." Fortunately this is an extremely rare case in regards to myself and my company, and shame on you Mr. Maycock for the way you handled it. We are hopeful that we will hear from Mr. Maycock so that we can handle his challenge. So far, he has not even spoken to us once about this, only sent threatening and bizarre emails that have nothing to do with his issue. Even after the threatening and irrational emails, when most companies would tell him to forget it, we have continued to reach out by offering a refund, emailing him to call us to resolve the issue, as well as placing two calls to him. That in itself shows the lengths that our company goes to work with its clients. If Mr. Maycock reads this, we suggest he simply call us so that we can resolve this with him.
