Budget Marketing Inc, AKA Magazine Source ripoff dirty SOB's the lied and cheated me Des Moines Iowa
I was called by this company Magazine Source and I was told that I could make payments for two months so I would pay 19.90 every month and after a certain period of time they would be paid off and I would receive them free(since I had been paying for two months every month).
I ordered the magazibe in early August of 2002. August 23rd I got married and found out that I was pregnant in September, as well as moving in early January. So after awhile of being pregnant I couldn't work any more and I tried to call and cancel my order since there was no more money going into my account.
Well after the third time I called them, they told me it was cancelled and everything was fine and I wouldn't be charged any more. The next month no money came out of my account so I figured that it was finally over and I wouldn't have to deal with them any more. Well as of this month I am 64.00 overdrawn in my account because they took the money out any my bank charges an overdraft fee everyday.
So I called them and talked to a Supervisor, didn't get her name, and she sat and argued with me telling me that I did not call to cancel the account and that I could not cancel the account at all, saying they spent to much money on it.
I told the woman over and over again that I could not afford them and did not want them and she said them were going to charge me a one time fee of $216.00 and send me the magazine for that amount. So the lied and cheated me again. Well I hope that woman will be nicer to my lawyer.
