Budget Rental Car Budget Rental Truck OVERCHARGED ON MY RENTAL Cincinnati, Ohio
I recently rented a car to to escape an abusive relationship with my husband. From Ohio to Massachusetts was my new route, and when I just checked my account history, BUDGET decided that they would charge me $357 instead of the $235 that I was quoted!!!!
I am very outdone and upset that I can't even speak to anyone at this time, as the office in Providence (where I dropped the one way rental off) is closed, and the barely able to speak English customer service associates, told me that I would have to call back on Monday to speak with the credit department.
What pisses me off about the situation is, that I was told that I would only be charged the $235, but today when I received my automatic update from my bank, my account was charged $357.
Who in their right mind would do a thing like this??? If it was $10 I wouldn't even care, but over a hundred!!!! It's like they charged me for a new day and I turned it in when I was supposed to... is it my fault that they were helping someone else when I was at the desk making my time as dropping off the car 12:15pm instead of 12:00????
I'm so ticked off with Buget, they will NEVER get ANOTHER brown penny out of my pocket and I will tell everyone that I know or that will listen not to go there to get their rentals.
The car was on a full tank of gas, cleaned out, and on time..... WHY did I get charged an extra $100???
