Bumpus Harley Davidson Refused to honor a dealer sold service. Memphis Tennessee
I have always had good luck here until I bought a out of state bike with the "Harley dealer standard maintenance package". I went in for my first service and an the first thing the service manager (Reggie) told me was " we don't really honor that program". I was told my options were to pay up front and go to the company for reimbursement or they hold my bike until they are paid in full by the program under writer.
I called the dealership that I bought it from (Redstone Arsenal HD) and told them what is going on. They said NO! this is a nation wide program. Long story short the two went back and fourth over two weeks later I finally get my motorcycle back. Over two weeks for an oil change. They told me that next service the other dealership will not cover the bill. I told them that's fine, I am a mechanic and your service department will never see this bike again.
So buyer beware if you think your going to get your bike serviced there with the paid maintenance program.
