I have a comment on the following rebuttal: "Sonny Binghamton, New York U.S.A. Buyers Choice Auto, Sonny Manny Usave Nobody ever gets there car repoed in a few days at this company, they have to be 2 or more payments behind before that happens, we deal with people with credit problems and with that you have to be safe then sorry, if these people payed there bills on time or talked with the company they would never repo the car tobegin with, so that is the bottom line here." I am living proof that this man is a liar and a scammer! First off my vehicle WAS repoed in just a FEW DAYS!! My husband and I were more than on time with our payments. The last payment for 4/4/09 was received ON TIME and I have documentation to prove this. Yet on Thursday 4/9/09 they call a recovery company to come repossess my truck!!! It was taken on 4/10/09. When we call them to find out why they say we are behind on payments which we are NOT and we have documentation for EVERY SINGLE PAYMENT TO DATE! Also....the 'bottom line here' is that we did make every effort to contact the company and we even tried to make 2 payments today to get our vehicle back and they still said no. And my bottom line is that consumers need to run away if you see Sonny Manny Auto or U-Save Auto Rentals or the AAMCO Repair that is with U-save cause they are all linked together and they all treat the customers with the utmost DISRESPECT and they need to just stop scamming people.

Buy here, pay here guys love to exploit loopholes. When the car is nearly paid off, they see the end of the gravy train coming, so they itch to repo the car and sell it all over again. You need to make all payments on time according to the contract and keep proof of making all the payments. When only a few payments are left, try to pay it off early with a lump sum and get the title. If you'd rather pay monthly and the contract says weekly, get an agreement in writing from them about the new schedule. If they won't do that, pay weekly anyway. It is best to make an extra payment so you're paying early instead of paying late. Buried somewhere in the legalese of the contract is usually a clause to the effect that just because they've accepted payments late before without penalty, they don't have to do it in the future.

what difference does it make? The payments are due when you agreed to when the payments are due.... the loan you signed! Weekly payments are due weekly. If you get paid monthly, set your payment money aside for when it IS due, or ask for an interest rebate in exchange for early payments. Why is this so complicated?

Once repo happens they will only give you 3 days to pick up your vehicle and they will turn in your plates put your car for sale in thier lot and refuse to give you verification that your plates have actually been returned to motor vehicles.
