unfortunately free speech in the U S sometimes has its downside, we have searched our records and cannot find a customer with a complaint filed in calabassas ca. we suspect this is the work of an overzealous competitor, we will be more than happy to address his concerns if he would contact us directly if in fact this customer does exist! the president

Let me give you some very very simple advice: NEVER...EVER.... Do business with a vending opportunity company that recommends a Putman company. Jennifer Putman Buffington is the daughter of Sid. Sid and Chris Putman got in serious hot water with the FTC (who settled for an undisclosed amount, their homes, and an agreement NEVER to get into locating again). Jennifer immediately started up Specialty Marketing under her name (which, is not illlegal) to keep money coming in for the family. The problem was that she engaged in the same deceptive business practices that buried Sid & Chris. When the heat became out of control she shutdown Speciality Marketing and started Selective Consulting. Unfortunately the MO is the same - deceptive practices and grossly exaggerated promises to help AVS sell more machines. Fact is Amercian Vending Systems knows full and well the Putmans history - everybody in the vending business opportunity world knows their history - EVERYBODY. They work with her because they can close more deals and later shutdown when the heat becomes too much - rich and happy. It's simple really. AVS knows what their doing, and why they're recommending Selective Consulting. They want more sales and will close their doors before they have to pay the consequences. FYI - the Putman family has always used the worst locators in the industry - most of them from Cleveland,OH. Good Luck!

Taylor, We are still waiting to discuss your concerns with you. Why haven't you called us yet or even responded to our rebuttal? Did you realize you are incorrect as far as SELECTIVE CONSULTING GROUP being involved in your being disappointed? If you made mistake, (it is ok, everyone makes mistakes) but please own up to your mistake and do a rebuttal regarding our company. LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU.

Taylor, you mentioned my name several times in your report, suggesting you have called my office and no one has returned your calls. Do you have a signed agreement with Selective Consulting Group? We DO NOT have you as an active client. If you have a locator doing your job, he/she does not do contracted work for our company. Our locators are very seasoned locator, it would never take them days to complete your job! IF YOU HAVE A SIGNED AGREEMENT WITH SELECTIVE CONSULTING GROUP AND YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH YOUR JOB BEING COMPLETED, PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE AND SPEAK TO ME PERSONALLY, I WOULD LIKE TO HELP YOU WITH ALL CONCERNS. Sirs, I have spoken to both of you about my concerns. The treatment I have received is just like the above. Runaround answers and false promises. If the machines have a jamming problem and do not work correctly, why are you still selling these machines? Why was I not told of this prior to purchasing my machines. Why is American Vending Systems working with and backing a locating company that does not deliver on it's promises and repeatedly lies to it's customers. Gman, being indicted by the federal government in a case called "Bogus Business Opportunity Sweep" is quite a bit more serious then what you mentioned above. People can read the report themselves and take what they will from it. Since myself and my problems don't appear to be real to you or your company, I will take my concerns up with someone who will listen.

My Name is Paul Haverstick and I am the Office Manager for American Vending Systems. Not only am I the Office Manager for American Vending Systems I am the personal coach for all route owners. It is my main priority to provide the highest level of customer service to all of our route owners. It is my foremost objective to help all route owners with any questions, comments, or concerns. Being that I take my job very seriously I will go to great length to give my undivided attention to make sure that all concerns are addressed in prompt and timely fashion. I take this post very seriously I have cross referenced every distributor that is in our California Database and was unable to locate a distributor in the Calabasas Area. I have had difficulties locating a Route owner in the Calabasas area; therefore I truly questions if this is a customer of ours. I would also like to bring up the fact that we are not a franchise and are unable to provide exclusive territories. Instead we use a calculation of 1 distributor per 50,000 in county population. Being that this post originated from Calabasas California and since Calabasas is located in Los Angeles County there is allowed to be 198 distributors based off the population of 9.9 Million People. Within every purchase agreement that is signed there is a detailed document clearly stating this. To whomever made the original post please feel free to contact American Vending Systems and Ask for Paul Haverstick to rectify this situation immediately.

You mention that you got $50 dollar gumball machines because they are jamming. Our company Mad Dog Energy Products has instructions on how to stop this from happening. Check out our backend educational part of the site. AVS does sell our product and are usually really good at explaining how there program works. I hear from successful people everyday selling our product out of vending machines. If you need assistance let your distributor know that you are not happy with something and I guarantee they will fix it. I'm sure there are plenty of breakrooms for your machines to go into, seems like you might have got hooked up with the wrong person to locate them for you. Most successful vendors locate there own machines and don't rely on locating companies to do it for them. I am sure AVS can help you if you let them know that you need help. Mentioning a mistake that I personally made shouldnt reflect on them. What happened to me for anyone that wants to know was all civil. I quoted that a gumball machine that holds 400 gumballs would have 100 dollars in quarters in the bottom when every gumball sells out and for some reason that makes you a business opportunity not an equipment supplier. It wasnt based on any complaints it was a registration issue. Please don't make it sound worse than it was and please give AVS a chance to correct any confusion, they usually do. Remember though this is not a franchise and there are no territories, if they put something like that in writing for you that you would be the only one in your area please let Mad Dog know. If that were happening our company would not be able to continue to grow. In no way would one person be able to service every breakroom in a decent size town.
