ByLine Magazine Failed to honor contract Albion New York
On February 23, 2007 I submitted an article to ByLine Magazine. It was accepted and I signed a contract. Later I received an e-mail from Robbi Hess that she had planned to publish my article in the December 2007 issue. When I didn't receive a copy of the magazine I sent a follow-up e-mail with no response. I sent a second follow-up with no response. Since I had not received a check, a subscription to the magazine per their guidelines, nor even a copy of the magazine with my article, I assumed they had not used it after all.
I had planned to write a letter to pull the article so that I could submit it elsewhere, but quite by accident learned that it had been published. I then sent an e-mail to Robbi Hess, but it came back.
Since it has already been published, if I submit it elsewhere it will have to go as a reprint. I would at least like a copy of the magazine in which my article "To Tell The Story" appears.
