The con-artists have infested eBay as well.

I have yet to hear from the BBB in So Cal that bzboyz IS A MEMBER OF!! I filed a complaint there too. They rate bzboyz as a " B ", not an " F ". Interesting.

This is a sample of the on-going correspondence with bzboyz. It started up again when I posted NEGATIVE feedback on eBay. Up until then, they chose to ignore me.

I got this TWO HOURS after I posted the negative feedback. This after 3 weeks of nothing.

Hello

Why did you give us negative feedback

We had emailed you and offered full refund also?

This was sent to you in September

1. Memory we send you are working memory 2. Memory we send are HIGH DENSITY 3. Motherboard you mentioned will NOT work with HIGH DENSITY MODULES 4. You sent 2 Memory to us, We replaced them with two = So why would there be a refund for $59.00 ? If memory is not working, eventhough Refund time has passed, I will give you FULL BUY NOW PRICE REFUND What I can not do is what you have bought will work with you have , because we know you bought incompatible products - YOU NEED LOW DENSITY MEMORY< You bought HIGH DENSITY

Time has passed for refund , but I have no problem giving it to you, Let me know if you need the refund and I will send you RMA number, also you need to remove the feedback first

If you have any questions, please let me know

Jenny

The end of my dealings with " sam ":

It is out of your hands at this point. I will only deal with David Nelson or a member of his staff in the Service Department.

Not you. They HAVE all the details of ALL the correspondence,

including the fact that I have bought a NEW K8T800 motherboard

to used the ram as specified in YOUR ad and the ram STILL DOES NOT WORK.

It is interesting that it took so long for you to respond. But when the negative feedback went up, bzboyz sure responded quickly.

I don't threaten, I act.

The bottom line is that the conditions exist as stated in my feedback. This is customer service? This is standing behind your product?

Sincerely Yours,

OK, just send them all the details on this email please

Also show them the ad I am sure, you will notice we have mentioned that make sure yur board takes

high density modules, if not to ask us before buying

Anyway origianl options remain for you - but threats will not get you anywhere

You want my help ? Ask, No threats. CA consumer affairs is not unfair, as soon as they read all the

details they will do same as we are doing now

So now if you want to work with me - Never threaten me again, otherwise fgo to CA consumer affairs

and we will deal wiht each other there ok ?

Subject: Ram till does not work and my options are limited

Sam:

I have just installed a NEW K8T800 based motherboard in the system, verified that it works with ANOTHER vendors memory, tried YOURS and IT STILL DOES NOT WORK!

At this point, I am looking at turning the whole issue to the California Consumer Fraud Division,

since the whole transaction has taken place within California.

Your site for those sticks of ram specifically state that they work with a K8T800 chipset, so I

went out of my way to BUY a NEW motherboard with those specifications.

I still have two unusable sticks of 2GB of ram. These will be turned over to the Fraud Division if

they ask for them.

I have made several offers to mitigate our situation and have heard nothing in response. Contacting

the California Consumer Affairs Division appears to be my next step.

Sincerely Yours,

You Purchased two different modules, two different orders. 128x4 Generic modules

Batches change. These are generic modules - we do not gauratee anywhere same batch replacement

You sent us 2 memory. We repalced those two memory

If they do not work, you have exchange / Refund options.

Didnt we send you TWO IDENTICAL Modules ? If not, call me at 562-997-0992

My RAM DID pass pccheck & Burn-In. And it DID run the system. YOU are responsible for

SAFEKEEPING my ORIGINAL RAM STICK and RETURNING IT!!

My ORIGINAL feedback PROVES that. Why give POSITIVE FEEDBACK unless it DID work?

I ONLY shipped it to you because I asked your company SPECIFICALLY to MATCH IT!!

I exercised DUE DILIGENCE. You have NOT. That is why it cost $11.00 to ship it to you. I WANTED IT BACK!!

P.S. I have a LONG background in the INDUSTRY and I have done PRODUCT DESIGN moving PROTOTYPES into PRODUCTION.

I am AWARE of a BUSINESS responsibility toward a CUSTOMER!

And the LAWS a business MUST abide by...

1) Make GOOD on the ORIGINAL RAM. 2) REFUND The $59.00.

THEN I will return the TWO pieces I have here.

On your statement:

I ALSO used to CALIBRATE the MEMORY TEST SYSTEMS at AMD & I KNOW about memory. I have a LONG

list of CREDENTIALS to prove it.

If a system memory passes 24 burn-in then STATISTICALLY it will not fail later.

THAT IS THE WHOLE BASIS FOR TESTING AND BURN-IN for MEMORY!!

Walking 1, walking 0, checkerboard, inverse checkerboard, need I go on?

I am also running and watching a PROLIANT 3000 fail those tests AS I WRITE THIS...

***************************

I thought of ANOTHER proposal that MIGHT get us BOTH out of this predicament.

What about sending me a matched pair of PC2700 1GB ram sticks?

It booted ok when I grabbed 512MB out of ANOTHER system & put it in..

I am offering this as a solution, as I HAVE the manual and it states:

DDR266/DDR333/DDR400. IT DOES NOT TALK ABOUT DENSITY!!

That is what I ask at THIS point.

sam wrote:

I would not even know where your "original memory" are, they are not serial number

based.

I sent you replacement with same specs - HIGH DENSITY

We shipped what you ordered - and as I mentioned it is NOT COMPATILBE

Jetway will not work as dual channel with High Density Modules

We did RMA exchange as per your needs.

Your motherboard have VIA K8M800 Chipset

we havd mentioned all known chipsets - K8M800 IS NOT ON IT

KNOWN Compatible Chipsets

VIA P4X266A,

VIA KT266/333

VIA KT600 (except ASUS KT600)

VIA PT800

SIS 645

SIS 648

648FX

SIS 746FX

KM400

K8T800

KT 880

KT 400

KT 400A

SIS 661FX

SIS 655

SIS 650GX

SIS 650

NFORCE 250GB

ULI CHIPSETS

BESIDES< I had also request, confirm with manufacturer before buying or ASK US, You did

not do any of it, so WHY BE UPSET AT US?

1GB mayhave worked but it would have failed real quickly and corrupted your drive along

side with it in case of memory dump, so be happy that we caught this in tmie instead of

being upset

Even though it is out of Refund time frame, if you need help with refund, I can

definately help, let me know

Short and to the point:

1)

You SEND me back my ORIGINAL MODULE. NO SUBSTITUTIONS,. THE EXACT SAME MODULE!!

That module worked FINE in this system. I just wanted an UPGRADE to 2 Gigabytes. That is

what started this fiasco and I will END it right now.

You refund my money. $59.00. I will go LOCALLY for my memory needs from now on.

( I will have spent $22.00 for the PRIVILEGE of working with you. I remain an UNHAPPY

CUSTOMER ).

2)

If you CAN'T or are UNWILLING to return my ORIGINAL MODULE ( that I PAID for, installed into

the JETWAY system, and USED with NO problems ), I keep the ram you sent. I save

$11.00 on shipping.....

( I STILL remain an unhappy customer )

*****************************

I can buy a NEW Motherboard that fits THOSE modules CHEAPER than the deal you have outlined.

Check your FRY'S ads. They are the EXPENSIVE alternative in Silicon Valley.

Look at it from a CUSTOMER standpoint; You have my WORKING MODULE.

I have to PAY to get it back?? I will NOT go into what that looks like from my end..

sam wrote: Hello

First of all please accept my apology for not replying to you faster as it took

me time to find the compatibility list on the model

I am sorry but the memory you purchased is NOT compatible with : JETWAY

K8M8MS

I double checked the specs, database and also googled for to be sure. This model

needs Low Density Module, but what you have purchased is NOT Low Density Module. It will

not work properly or at all with your system's motherboard and may cause other issues if

you continue to use it.

One thing - Yes your indication about Speed, FSB. MHZ and Type of DDR is all rightas per

manual, BUT Type of Density was wrong. Unfortunately that part is not usual issue

but there are exception in cases like your motherboard. That is the reason why Module will

just not work with your Motherboard

We had mentioned compatibility chipset list on the advertisement. As advertised, it is for

some AMD/Intel motherboards and not low Density. (Motherboards which needs LOW DENSITY

will not accept these modules even though the chipset may be on compatibility list). Both Chipset

and Density needs to be compatible. Usually that is not a problem but in some

cases like this, it causes incompatibly and as a result memory will not work as thought.

Chipset on your system board will not support High Density DDR

SDRAM:(Chipsets direct information between the processor (CPU) and the memory as well as

peripherals. Only certain (Depending on design of motherboard) chipsets will work with

it). Between AMD and Intel, Both AMD and Intel recommends Low Density, but AMD is more

flexible and allows manufacturer to decide how they design their boards. Some Intel

motherboard manufacturer also allows high density to work, but not all. So generally Low

Density is universal memory, while high density is selective (and thus very cheap

also)

We also get frustrated customers who mentions their 1GB module is showing as

512MB only and in every case memory has been working fine. If a motherboard is NOT

compatible, it will show that you only have 512MB Memory or sometimes even

less.

If you wish an exchange for right module, I DO GUARANTEE LOWEST PRICE

AND make sure you get RIGHT COMPATIBLE MODULES. It is jungle out there if you are looking

for right module , and I promise to take care of you by being an honest and right

guide.

-----------------------------

For compatible memory, For JETWAY K8M8MS , if you plan to use it with

Existing module ALSO if you want to add more later, I only have buffalo/supertalent Brand

which would be the Right Choice.

Why buffalo/supertalent- It is same company who make modules for Gateway and

other major companies and is FAR Cheaper than them, also offers LIFE TIME direct warranty

and excellent reputation with RIGHT PRICE POINT.

-----------------------------

If you need correct, compatible module, this option is the best one. The Price

includes shipping

- Compare the price (And please compare apple to apples and note this is NOT OEM

or Generic option I am suggesting but certified HASSLE free solution) and you will see I

am giving it to you at cost !!!!!!! )

For compatible Hassle Free - Certified Low Density Memory - It will cost

you additional $58.57 per module

You had paid, $$59.90 on the auction per moudle but that is not the right

modules you for, so for right type of module - Low Desnity each module would cost

$118.47

(Note : Price includes shipping and I do not make profit or

upgrades, it is purely cost difference (And This price is gauranteed for only next 3 days,

as prices are skyrocking for memory, so I request that please reply asap) and I do it as

customer service. I want your 100% satisfaction. Because of that, I can say - I

offer best service and Very aggressive prices - Hoping you will come to back us in future

for any other Hardware needs. )

IF You wish to Upgrade, it is SIMPLE - Pay the amount using Paypal (or

if you wish , we can also take credit card)

1. GO AND PAY THROUGH PAYPAL THE AMOUNT - [email protected]

Simple Steps to follow : Step 1

www.paypal.com >>>> Click ON Send Money ( TOP TAB) >>>> Click On PAY ANYONE >>>

Receipient's email -- USE : [email protected] >>>>Category of Purchase: USE: Goods(other)

2.Once you get transaction ID< Email me back

3. Once you pay, and let us know, we will then send you RMA number and

instructions to return the modules you currently have.

4.As soon as we receive them, we will send you replacement modules to you.

If you decide to cancel/refund do not hesitate, let me know - I will make sure

you are given the refund back as per terms on advertisement. Shipping is not

refundable, Shipping over all includes Paypal /ebay fees also, so you will not be

charged any restocking fees on auction price. If you wish refund the, refund value will be

: $$59.90

There is 3rd option, if budget is an issue - You can do even swap for LOW DENSITY

module - get 1/2 the RAM you have bought but it will be compatible and will not cost you

extra

--------------------------

I know others are selling this type of memory , so if you decide to to

go with me , JUST LET ME KNOW, I will make the change and send it out

Please let me know as to which way you wish to go and I will send you appropriate

RMA number and instructions for return

Hi, Sam was the previous owner of bzboyz. The new owners have been working hard to help change the reputation of the company. We are quite shocked at how the previous owner responded this issue. The corporate culture at bzboyz has been steadily changing for the better as can be seen by our improved "A" rating with the Better Business Bureau and our PowerSeller status on Ebay. We have some ways to go, but we are trying to work closely with our customers to keep them satisfied. Please try us again and we will try to help you in a more amicable way. After the purchase our company has now moved and our numbers have changed. We can be reached at 909-547-2109. If you have any issues you can ask for the supervisor. Regards, Bzboyz
