California Miramar University Hardly a ripoff - Do your research!! San Diego California
I was doing my research on schools to attend for an MBA and I was very discouraged by the cost of the programs I was looking at. Then a Navy friend of my Husband's told me about California Mira Mar University. I looked it up online and on their website and was amazed at the cost for the MBA program. It was the best so far so I looked into it. I proceeded to do more research on a student level and business level and saw a few concerning posts on the school being affiliated with Pacific Western and I looked into it and realized that by purchasing that school the concerns followed. There was no reason for me to be concerned they are not in anyway Pacific University. They do not accept credits from there nor do they practice as Pacific did. It was just a purchase. I also found out that they are very attentive to the student. Sometimes too much. They will check on you and send you emails on how things are going throughout your education. I really liked that (to a point). Their attention to military students is awesome. I am not military but many in my class are. Over all I loved my experience in this University. It was hard and they do have expectations but it was all worth it to me. I am an adult so I liked the small campus environment. By the way I do not know who the person is that was mentioned in the other complaint but that person doesn't work where I went to school.
