Rockford, Illinois- It's been a month since employees at a Rockford debt collection firm were told to leave after federal agents told them to pack up.

Friday was the only day former CAMCO employees could come to collect themselves. One month after being told to leave because of a federal raid, workers came to clean off their desks.

Federal Trade Commission agents came in December 6 after an investigation revealed corrupt business practices at the debt collection agency.

Friday, an attorney for the FTC stood watch up on the third floor, and only a security guard could let anyone in.

But it wasn't just the 150 employees that needed to gather the last of their things. Vendors, like Pepsi, had merchandise inside they needed to take back.

Traffic wasn't heavy, and only a few people came and went. For now, the investigation into CAMCO continues, and the doors are still locked.

Here is a further update - the four individuals named in the complaint by the FTC (Reese Waugh, Garrington, etc.) are NOT eveb allowed to spend anything over $1000 unless specifically granted by the Feds. They are virtually under house arrest. In order words, the Feds have got these goons by the you know what. There is also a criminal investigation going on as well. You can guarantee that these goons will be doing time behind bars.
