Scam Artist John Larson's Camelot Modular Camelot modular infamous for ripping many customers Guilford Connecticut
An year ago we read report about John Larson and his Camelot Modular co. on this site but we were already in contract so we could not do much. John Larson owns this company but on document he is a manager of his own company.
He promises every word you like to hear like completing modular house within 3-4 months and shows you price below market rates. His contract is very mis-leading and makes him 100% safe from any lawsuits so please read it 1000 times before signing it. He even confuses well known lawyers.
First, he shows you a little output and then asks money. Once he wins your confidence, he starts sucking money promising the work delivering nothing. Everything in your list becomes optional and you'll have to pay for the things you already paid. Increases contract price by $25K-35K and whatever work is delivered is half-assed and painfully slow. In our case one person use to show up once in 3-4 weeks and work for 3-4 hours and then John Larson asks for more money. He left our work unfinished and now we are running to complete our work. Fortunately, we met couple of guys screwed like us and we are all planning lawsuits and we'll be helping each other as witnesses. Beware of this scam artist.
