We rented and home from this management company in April 2012.  We had a really bad rain storm come into the area and the rain was flooding in the windows in the dinning area, it took 17 beach towels to stop the water from getting to our dinning table and chairs after we had to move them out of a hugh puddle of water. When I called the next morning and spoke with Marc Coleman he said well all I can say is you need to get renters insurance. After I told him we already had the insurance he said well make a claim. I told him I wanted it fixed because we were due for more rain, he sent a repair man out, the repair man looked at the window and told me he would have to get the ok from Marc to get the supplies to do the repair, and he would be back on Monday.  That after it started raining again and again the windows started leaking. I again called Marc and was telling him it was pouring and it was again coming in the windows, Marc's reply to me was well I am doing everything under the court of law that needs to be done! I told him that no one said anything about a court of law, I just wanted my windows fixed so that my furniture did not get messed up! (there is now MOLD growing under the sheet vinyl flooring in that area and under the water heater that is housed right there by those windows too.) (We notified the home owner of ALL of this too!)

And in June 2012 we called to let them know there was a foul smell coming from the kitchen a/c vent. We were told by Marc Coleman to just pour bleach in the vent and everything would be fine. I called again a couple of days later and Marc sent an A/C repair man out and he found water under the A coil. MOLD was growing in this water as well and because of this the house could have caught on fire. The repair guy who was a friend of Marc Coleman's charged the A/C and left.

In the middle of August the owner of the home Susan Winters sent another A/C repair man out and he replace the A coil and said that the water was still leaking and MOLD was growing.

Come to find out there was MOLD growing under the sink.

My husband and I were getting REALLY sick and we talked to the home owner and made her aware of the MOLD problems. We also talked to Betty Coleman (owner of Canyon Lake Land Co.) and told her about ALL the MOLD problems. Betty told my husband that she talked to Susan and they would give us back our deposit back and help us find another place to live. They were willing to do this to get us out of the MOLD so that they could go in and do repairs to get all the MOLD out of the house. 2 days after us being told this by Betty Coleman the house was back on the market and they raised the rent 75.00 more per month.

Not only do the Coleman's lie to the tenants, they lie to the property owners! Marc has told Susan Winters that we are demanding and VERY hard to get along with, he has also slandered our names to other people here in the area.

BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THE COLEMAN'S AND CANYON LAKE LAND COMPANY!
