 I was checking my credit score on wallethub and I found the inquiry about an account opened on July 1st 2016 but I haven't a clue who opened that account because I leave all the way in Boston Massachusetts. I'd like to clear this ASAP

There are steps to take to safeguard your credit. Go to FTC(dot)gov and look up ID Theft and follow those steps. Do it right away since the account was opened under your SS#.

Not to be rude but if you want to find out information about the account how about calling the company?

Here is the kicker..you have the contact number.

 

Now, it coud be Identity Theft, it could be just an account you don't recongonize the bank, or it could be something else.  But the first step is to contact THEM.
