Cape Cod Trailer Storage ripoff Hyannis Massachusetts
I contracted this comapny to store my personal property in a weather safe tractor trailer to be stored in my fathers' yard until I found a new home to move into. This company was to then bring my property in the trailer I contracted to me. after 2 months of living in a campground I found a house off exit 16 rte 3..
My trailer was stored in Yarmouth exit 8 on rte 6. at no time was it discussed that their was a milage limitation and the fact that I informed them that I beleived that the trailer leaked was ignored because their contrat states they are not responsible for damages. I since found that the trailer was not road worthy.
I attempted to contact Dept. of Transporation DOT now 3 months later I still have not heard form them. my personal and irreplaceable property that was in the trailer destroyed(family heirlooms and memorabelia) and when informed where the location of my new residence was refused to honor contract.
This is called lack of full disclosure and breach of contract. I ended up paying a moving company $1050.00 to complete the contract that was singed by this company that they refused to honor minus the persoanl property destroyed by faulty equipment.
