In response to the comments made by Jon, and some of you other debtors, I have a very simple and easy way you can have my company no longer calling you about a bill almost all of you admit to having. Pay it! You people that claim you never heard of these bills actually made payments on your debt for years. I have seen one person to claim has never heard of the debt in his life when I had a copy of his payment history to a company for over 20 years. A very small percentage of accounts that we attempt to collect may be fraudulent; however, the accounts we know for a fact are legitimate people wish to use an excuse like, "it's too old," or, "I dont remember the account." There are no loopholes, my company is not a scam. You internet geeks have nothing better to do than respond in anger because somebody is calling you for what you are," a debtor," without judgement prior, and giving you a chance to explain the reason why you quit paying your bill. What if it was money owed to you, how nice would you be? It's because of people like you that I cant get a decent interest rate on my credit card, and I too at some point in my life went through a financial rainstorm like you have. I'm not saying I agree with some tactics that some of our employees practice. I do agree that there should be there should be punishment leading to personnal suit for some actions of our collectors as well. Bottom line is that your bill will not go away, you owe the money so pay it back. My company is not going anywhere despite what you may read from a bunch of people that stole money. Besides who would you believe? A person that has documents in front of them validating the debt, or most of the people on this web site that probably still dont have anything more than $200 in savings and a terrible credit report to show that they didnt pay other bills that Camco doesnt have yet?
