Capital Acquisitions & Management Company Scam Schaumburg Illinois
Received a letter dated April 14, 2003 which stated "This letter is to notify you that your CITIBANK account which was formerly held by FOURSCORE RESOURCE CAPITAL, LL has been purchased by Capital Acquistions and Management Company. The amount owed was $3,339.78.
The key point is that I have never had a Citibank credit card or ever done business with citibank.
10 years ago they or the other company tried to collect on the same bogus account. They were told 10 years ago never to call unless they could show me a document that it was my debt. This was the first time we have heard from.
I called them on April 18,2003 to find out what this was all about. By the end of the phone call they had reduced the bill to $446 and I could pay $223 today and $50 a month until the bill was paid. All during the conversation they kept trying to get our bank name and our account number. They wouldn't take a certified check or cashier check.
The people I dealt with were Veronica Martinez and her so called boss Lily.
This is a scam, it isn't my debt and it is over 10 years old.
I am sending a cerfied letter to stop all phone calls.
I am writing Federal Trade Commission, U.S. Postal Inspection Service Mail Fraud., Office of the Illinois Attorney General, Florida Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau
