I'm with Lisa from Cleveland, Pa. The same thing happened to me too. Not only was money taken out of my bank account that I didn't know was going to be deducted, it caused eight checks to bounce, continuous overdraft fees, not to mention the charges incurred to my creditors who charge returned check charges. So far this bullshit has cost me $437.85 for something I only agreed to look into.

I will be making an appointment with an attorney ASAP to see if I can get any of my money back. I would also encourage everyone to report this company to the Better Business Bureau, and the State of Florida's Attorney Generals Office.

I also want to know how this company can feel justified charging $29.95 for shipping and handling fees for a packet that they sent through the U.S. Mail. It seems to me that this is mail fraud too.

I listened to the rep calling me about this offer too, and I don't recall being told the first time I was contacted that this was a Pay-As-You-Go Mastercard. I was told no intrest mastercard.

My credit isn't even bad, but, if you do have credit problems there are other ways to fix it. Capital First is not the answer to anyone's credit problems execpt maybe Juans.

Everyone with a complaint should also send it to Mastercard,as well as the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the State of Florida's Attorney General's office Their website is MASTERCARD.COM. I sent a complaint in today informing them of Capital First and their shitty practices.

Hey Julie, computer messed up and put my state as PA, it is Ohio. I was told it was a Pay as you go Mastercard and since I wasn't familiar with exactly what that was, I asked many questions. I was told it was like a "regular" credit card, but with no interest charges as long as I paid the 99.95. I have recently contacted Mastercard and surprise, surprise, they have no affiliation with Capital First. I contacted the Federal Trade Commission and my Sheriff's office wants me to come in and fill out a report on this company. But, don't forget to close your checking acct and also file a form with your bank to get these charges back into your acct. Don't rely on Capital First. They will definately be taking more charges out of your acct.
