I WAS CONTACTED BY A REP FROM CAPITAL FIRST ON JULY 1,2002 VIA TELEPHONE. THEY OFFERED ME A DEAL TO RE-ESABLISH GOOD CREDIT AND A FREE 7-DAY TRIAL PERIOD.
oN 7/3/2002, MY ACCOUNT WAS DEBITED FOR $29.95. RECEIVED PACKET FROM CF ON 7/22.
DECIDED IT WAS NOT REPRESENTED TO BE WHAT DESCRIBED OVER THE PHONE. AFTER A 20-,INUTE WAIT ON THE PHONE, I FINALLY GOT THROUGH TO CANCEL.
ON 7/24/2002, MY ACCOUNT WAS DEBITED $59.95 AND $99.95. iT ALSO CREATED AN OVERDRAFT SITUATION WITH $50..00 IN FEES.
I HAVE CONTACTED THEM AT LEAST 6 TIMES OVER THE PAST 3 MONTHS-PHONE AND MAIL AND HAVE BEEN PROMISED A REFUNDON THE LAST 4 OCCASIONS. TO DATE-I HAVEN'T RECEIVED A THING AND THE PHONE NUMBER SEEMS TO BE INOPERABLE. I AM LIVID.
