Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
While looking on Graig'slist.org I was engaged by an add that offered tenancy in a 2bd/2bth house with a yard and carport going for $1200/mnth. I contacted the person listed in the add "Eddie", and was told he wasnt working that day, Monday, March 10,2008.

On the phone, the same day, I spoke with David Castro and went into the office. He specified I would be able to view the prospective properties that day. While, my roommate and I were at the office He advised us that it would take a couple of days...(2-10) to view the properties and get moved in.

We then paid $180 to "secure" our spot for the properties we wanted to view. He then told us to fax over the documents after we DROVE AROUND OURSELVES WITH THE MAPS PROVIDED BY THEIR COMPANY, so they could contact the property owners.

After doing so, I faxed over the documents on the 11th of March and awaited a phone call. On the following business day, March 12, 2008 my roommate called to confirm that they did recieve our fax, since our fax confirmed that it was received, but she was told they DID NOT receive the fax.

That evening, March 12,2008 we drove back to their offices only to be told that customer service was closed, but they would take our documents to be proccessed.

I then received a voicemail on March 13,2008 that indicated the owners of the 2 prospective properties would be getting in contact with me DIRECTLY. For the next week, I followed up calling them @ least 2 times a day to learn of the progress of the hunt. Each time I called I was either placed on hold for up to 5 minutes, told "Let me have your name and number and someone will call you within the hour" or "call back".

As a consumer why is it that I was told to call back when I paid $180 for a service to be rendered???

On/Around March 24, I called once again to CAPITAL HOME PLACEMENT CENTER, I was once again told to call back in 20 minutes, seeing as though I have a job to get back to, I called my roommate and asked her to call back. When she did, she was told that not one, but BOTH of the properties we wanted to view were rented on March 19,2008!!!!

They stated they had left a voicemail to advise me of this, but no voicemail was received, and what is your follow up process to confimr the message was received and why wasn't I told this everytime I called previously?

This company is a SCAM!!!! Don't Fall Victim!!!
