Capital Home Placement Center Total RIPOFF! Don't ever pay money for services you don't really need. S.El Monte California
I'm usually the type of person that pays attention to detail and asks lots of questions. I worked with Mark at this agency to find a rental home for my bf and my friend. We drove all the way over here and decided to give it a try since westsiderentals and southbayrentals.com weren't coming up with anything we wanted. I asked him time and time again whether or not we were going to lose our money if we did not end up finding a home through the agency. Just like everyone else i'm sure, he said "no," and that we would get our $125 back if we decided to go antoher route. We just had to wait the 90 days. I even asked if there was anything else we had to do in order to get a refund, or could we just call after 90 days to do it. He said it would be fine and that we didn't have to do anything. I even faxed in requests on homes, but got no response so we just forgot about it since my mom was planning on buying a house so we could just move in with her.
End of 90 days comes around and I just got the letter back stating they have reviewed their files and cannot locate a signature a min. of twice a week for a full 90 days. Something about needing 24 listings total.
CAPITAL is full of it and lies to get money from people. Even the place looked ghetto when we got there. A bunch of kids working and only one person in the so-called "customer service." I hope this helps someone and prevents someone from getting conned. Lesson learned.
