carbonite Beware of initial back-up, mine has taken 20 days and is less than 50% complete Internet
I signed up for carbonite after hearing their ads and doing some intial research. The problem is that my initial back-up has been grinding away for 20 DAYS and is less than half way complete.
Carbonite will only back-up 2GB per day. The fact that Carbonite provides no information on transfer rates before you sign up is a clear rip-off. I am estimating that my initial back-up will take 3 months! I do have a moderate amount of data but using a broadband connection I would expected much better data transfer rates.
