This company doesn't pay its employees on time, asks them to hold their checks for days on end, and when they let them take their checks they bounce. The owner doesnt even wanna pay the bounced check fees.

I work for Island Media. We have over 20 employees currently working here, and currently getting paid. All these ex-employees posting here are bitter over one thing or another and are venting because of their inabilites. When I signed on here, my employee packet had many different agreements for me to sign, including a non-compete and a non-disclosure. Most companies have them. The training involved is extensive and is clearly spelled out prior to beginning work. If you don't agree to any of them, you do not have to sign them. Period. You have that choice. The bottom line is the disgruntled employees here weren't good enough to make this a success, and decided to either no call/no show OR were let go - and they are mad. Please understand that if our company was as bad as the 2 or 3 people posting here says we are, we wouldn't have been in business for as long as we've been in business. I wish them all success in their future endeavors.
