Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I bought my Dodge Ram Quad Cab with 24,000 miles on it. At 40,000 I was having transmission problems. I took the truck in to the Dodge dealer. kept it for two weeks and did what they call an over-haul. It was a patch job, because I felt the transmission slipping again. I took the truck back. They said there is nothing wrong with it. I also fail to mention that I bought an extended warranty for $1200 or 100,000 miles. The first time the truck had a problem was June,2002.

When I took the truck back they found the problem. After 70,000 miles It was the other part of my transmission this time, so I had to pay another $100 deductible. I went to get in my truck and the gear stick was hard to put into gear. I told the department manager, he test drove it and told me the part was new and it would soon wear in. He lied, I was back in one week with the same problem with my transmission. The machinic put the part on backwards. That's what caused my truck to go into neutral on the worst highway in Alabama in front of an eighteen wheeler (what a nightmare).I Called my warranty companyand they told me to talk to the manager. The manager said I,m sorry and the service lady Jennifer said "we are going to fire that mechanic". The same mechanic did the job again.

This is the wild part. They told me I wouldn't have to pay a deductible. They gave me a rental and it took them one week to fix my truck. I Called before I went to pick up my truck. Jennifer the service agent told me I would have to pay a $100 deductible because they had to replace my gear box. She said the manager said that the steering wheel had too much play in it. They also gave it a front end alignment.

There was nothing wrong with my steering when I took the truck in. How can they fix something on my truck without my permission!! I picked the truck up and called my warranty company. They told me they have no record of my transmission being fixed again for the same problem. They only have record of them ordering a gear box. They asked me isn't that the reason your truck was in the shop. I said "no, it was for a messed up transmission job. They got their hundred dollar deductible one way or the other. Liars!! Con-artist. low down dirty snakes in the grass. I,m a fair person. They are giving me patch jobs untill my 100,000 miles run out, it's obvious. What can a person do about this situation.

Right now I hear a jingle in my tire on the drivers side. I know it is something that they have done. I'm almost afraid to take it to them but I have to because my warranty said I can't change mechanics while those parts are under warranty. I love my truck but is all of this trickery worth it. They brag on this name brand of vehicle all of the time, and they are right it is a good one. I believe it is the sorry individuals that they put in charge of handling our situations. These a dealerships that are not standing up behind their work. It cost an arm and a leg for these vehicles and something needs to be done now!!!
