7/9/2015 I had phone conversation with John Dawedeit we dicussed out the door price of 26,000 with my trade for a 2015 Canyon. I did not want to drive down from Ocala to Suart Florida 390 mile RT unless that deal could be made.
I E-mailed him pictures of my truck and not long after he called. He stated that bad for them they had only 2 new car sales so far this month, good for me because they could meet the proposal and would provide 50.00 to pay for the trip down.
The next morning 7/10/15 drove 4 hours to complete the deal when it came time to do the contract Ben Pridemore appeared and stated it would be 28,000 with my trade Simple bait and switch. Good cop bad cop ploy demanding 2,000 more than I told them I could do.
The very next day 7/11/15 I was able to make the exact same deal for the same priced truck in Venice Florida.
You might expect this from some shady buy here pay here used car dealer in a back alley, but not New car Buick GMC
The very least they should cover my expense to drive down 390 miles RT X 57.5 per mile = 224+ 10.00 in tolls. They did give me the 50.00 gas card so an additional 175.00 would suffice.
