Salesmen are trained how to lie and manipulate. They are very slick. When looking for a car, be patient and look around. Also, ask around, ask people if they can recommend anyone or who to stay away from. The reason why these auto sales places go through so many employees is because people often get sick of having to lie to people. Same thing with auto service garages. I know of people who quit working for those places because of what they were required to do to people's cars.

I too found it odd that the first sales person was not there/not available when I decided to purchase the vehicle. When I returned to CarMax to swap the vehicle that sales person was not there/not available. I found myself being assisted by 2 employees, one of which wanted to appear to be very knowledgeagle about CarMax's founder (ugh, what did I care as I was sold a car with mechanical defects, huh?!!) and the other was a trainee! CarMax also said they would send the vehicle to a local Nissal dealer to have them diagnose the problem. Another lie told. I am reporting this to my local DMV to hopefully ensure CarMax will not be able to register/sell this mechanically unsafe vehicle to another individual by giving the DMV the VIN # on the vehicle.
