Reynolds sued me, lost, appealed and lost again

I have designed and built over 170 homes. Mr. Reynolds sued me 3 years after discovering a defect and expired his right to sue. He lost his lawusit against me and then continued his crusade on an applelate level and the appellate judge also dismissed his unfounded lawsuit. Yes there justice when the truth is known. I constructed a home for the original owner who was job transfered about 2 years after they moved in right after it was completed. For 2 years that the original owner possesed the home and for 1 year after the original owner moved out, we had no complaints about the constructed home. This home was built in a subdivision that I uilt over 20 homes in. Mr. Reynolds bought the home from the Corporate relocation company after the home was in custody and management by the relocation company for over a year. It was later proven that that improper maintenance of the home while it was in custody of the relocation company and improper maintenance by Mr. Reynolds contributed to the construction defect sued on by Mr. Reynolds. Texas has expansive soils and when an owner does not properly maintain proper drainage, the soils will swell and can affect movement to a foundation system as was the case in Mr.Reynolds complaint. We inspected the complaint and discovered that ALL rear and side yard area drains installed to collect and manage drainage were clogged and caused oversaturation of the soils. Here is the kind of person Mr. Reynolds is. He initially wrote to me asking for guidance and stated in his letter that he does not hold me responsible for the construction defect and only wanted me to share my contractors to help him out. I obliged and referred several sources including the structural engineer who designed and pre pour inpscted the post Tensioned slab on PIERS foundation we constructed to the engineer's design. Despite Mr. Reynolds good faith letter to me that he did not hold me responsible, he sued me
I can provide copies of the lawsuit dismissal documentation to substantiate the unfounded claim Mr. Reynolds made against me that caused me to spend several thousands of dollars to defend against his lawsuit that was dismissed
