The police dept. of sereval different counties of Florida are still doing research on this matter. I given my money back from the accident, but never was given a explantion from carnival cruise line for this crime. So, watch out when you go on a cruise.

Even though you don't get a full bill until the end of the cruise you can check on your bill at any time and pay parts or all of it or even cancel the charges (but of course you cannot bill more things to the account afterwards unless you give them that much extra cash). Charges add up quick especially if you don't pay any attention to what you are drinking and how much it costs. Then add in shore excursions, it can easily go up to 500 or 1000 dollars. Even though you said you paid cash did you reserve a hotel room for the trip with a credit card?? Did you show that card when you got to the hotel?? Did they run it and then keep it on file till you paid cash?? Anything could have happened. You can also supply a cash advance for the cruise when you check in.

Okay, so your credit card had charges from several Florida cities ... what does this have to do with your statement of "identity theft"?? Did someone steal your IDENTITY, or simply use your credit card without your permission?

Several years back went to Vegas. Went to the hotel, gave them my card which they said wasn't excepted. No big deal gave them another. Now I only use cards for travel; airlines, hotels and rental cars. Now I'm kind of pissed cause the first one has a high limit so when I get back to S.A. I call USAA and want to know why. They tell me you were out of your usual area so we declined it. Good job USAA. Before I went on a cruise last month, told them when, what dates and where I was going. They authorized the card to be used at those locations only during those dates only. Pretty smart.
