We are very sorry that you had this experience.
I do not try to offer excuses for issues but this was certainly MY fault. However, I hope that you can understand that in Jan 2009, the credit card processing companies shifted their rates and made it impossible for me to afford their services. As you know Casa de Quesadilla is an extremely small (10 table) restaurant whose clientele are mainly (99%) Hispanic working class people who mainly pay in cash. In Jan 2009 we dropped our credit card processing as I only made $20 in charges (net) and the CCP charged me $55 + $.23 per swipe that month. I am at fault because I failed to remove the signage.
I am sure the headache and nausea we caused by this experience and not by the food. I feel that insinuating it was the food was rather unfair but I understand you were upset.
Casa de Quesadilla has been in business for 5 years, far longer than any of our local competition, because we insist on using steak and not chuck, fresh not canned, and strive to maintain our business plan "Serve to our Hispanic customers as if they were being served at home in Mexico". We are NOT tex-mex. If you are looking for a crispy taco with Lettuce, tomato and sour cream for $0.89. Taco Bell is down the street.
We currently only accept cash... please visit us again!
