CashCall Inc. LEGALIZED LOAN SHARKING AND HARRASSMENT! Ripoff Fountain Valley California
In November of 2004 I requested a loan from CashCall to consolidate my bills. Sure, the customer service rep I spoke to was very kind and helped me alot because he knew I was going to be paying back alot of money, but after everything was said and done I realized what a horrible mistake I had made. I have an interest rate of 39% on a $10,000 loan. I have been paying for almost 3 years and I have barely seen my principal amount drop to $9,500.
I also have fallen behind on 2 payments due to the fact that I was on maternity leave and was not paid by my company. I have tried to explain my situation to CashCall but they don't want to hear it. My file has been handed off to so many different people that I don't even know who I should take to anymore. The last person I spoke with was very mean and rude. He called me at work and told me that I needed to pay now or else I would be sent to court, when I tried to explain to him that I would not have the money for 2 more days he told me that I better borrow it from someone or let him speak to my boss.
They call my home and cell phone all day from 8am-8pm. They call me at my place of work after I specifically told them not to. I am a receptionist and can not receive personal calls at work. They are jeopardizing my job and my means to live. They make promises to help me if I just give them one more payment. CashCall is just a loan shark that enjoys harassing its customers.

Report CashCall to the Federal Trade Commission

Call the Federal Trade Commission is very easy the process takes no more than 15 minutes or do the report online. I reported CashCall Inc. because I lost my job and I called all my creditors, but cashcall inc. was the only company that would not work with me. I too received the calls several times a day.
