My loan of $5,000 was taken out in Jan. 2007. In late July, 2007, I entered into a debt plan. I had numerous discussions with Cashcall, Inc. and they led me to believe that they would accept pmts. from my debt plan. Not so, Cashcall, Inc. has received 4 pmts. to date and what they are doing is lying, ignoring, making false statements, denying payments have been made, ignoring dozens of certified and overnight letters to the owner, John Paul Reddam.

I have basically paid well over $2,000 to date, but I would have to make a payoff amount of $6,000. I sent an e-mail to Cashcall's in-house counsel on 12/10, to which we had a brief back and forth communication, in which counsel made untrue and fabricated claims (I have all e-mails and notes, letters, etc.) basically lied through his teeth. When I asked him to provide me with specific documentation, he turned around and attacked my character. I told him to never contact me again.

I have arranged to have a phone conference on Monday, Feb. 11 with a California class action attorney who want to hear all about Cashcall, Inc. I am contacting every single agency and reporting online sites and will continue to pursue action against this company.

The Los Angeles Better Business Bureau, labbb.org has over 870 complaints against this company. I've had e-mail communications with the heads of LABBB and they made a stmt. that because Cashcall, Inc. is a national company, they obviously would have more complaints. There is really nothing investigative that the bbb can do. They can only monitor the company. The labbb has removed Cashcall, Inc. as a member. I print out their company report almost daily to monitor complaints. In Aug. 2007, they had 454 complaints. Today they have 870.

I had to send three certified letters to get them to stop calling me. When I sent they third one, I clearly stated that I now have a cause of action against them and they stopped immediately. Get everything in writing, take notes, keep good records because there will be a class action at some point and Cashcall, Inc. is notorious for making intentionally false statements.
