Castle Rock Security Inc SAI, APX Deceptive contract renewal tactics, rip off, unfriendly Arlington Heights, Illinois
Castle Rock Securities is trying to charge me for an additional year of service based on an automatic renewal of one year after an initial term of 3 years. I sent them a cancellation letter but it was a month late and their response is "too bad, you automatically renewed and you owe us for another year." My service hasn't worked for almost 6 months and I refuse to pay for the new contract. They have harassed me relentlessly for 5 months now and have turned me over to a collection agency called Anderson Crenshaw. I have seen numerous people with the same complaint. This sounds like a story for 20/20 or 60 minutes.
