Are you kidding me? Have you ever bought a car in your lifetime? Even go to local trade shows or flea markets? How is asking you if you will sign up today if they give you zero percent financing a strong arm sales pitch. I've talked to a rep from quickcert.com that was going to give me 2 courses at the price of one. You know what I did, I said, "I'll have to think about it, and I'll have to call you back." What you need to understand, and this is coming from a person who has been in sales for years, is that those salespeople NEED you to call back. They are trained to act like they don't care, to act like it's a now or never deal, but 9 times out of 10, if you call back you will get the same deal. Those are the tactics they use. And as far as skillsoft is concerned, I know for a fact that the U.S. Military does use their courses, in fact, I'm training for my A+ certification right now through Skillsoft, via the Army.

I read the rebuttals on this and know for a fact, air force, microsoft, etc... do not endorse or have contracts for training, they say microsoft uses it even if some lower employee of microsoft bought a course 5 years ago, so don't believe the above rebuttals as they are fabricated. cbt direct uses a proven sales script that exploits the emotional side of you to get you to agree. I know, I was a rep for 5 years. they promise boot camps without an instructor too, most employees are on probation or parole.

Dan you are right , hard to believe... co. has been in business 16 yr's , you are using the same training material that the USA , USAF , USN , Dept. of Defense , MicroSoft etc... use. People are not strongarmed, give me a break your on the phone and you are an intelligent adult. if not interested in career advancement - hang up! If people would do the research , they would find fruad reports and FBI looking for the guy that owns ripoff reports... He has a huge record. Bo

I have been using this company for about 3 years now and I was very suprised to read this. I needed to contact them to make another purchase for someone in my dept and I did a google search and found this information. I have been in IT for 10 years now and I have used a variety of different methods and I find that CBT Direct has the best material that I have found. I still cannot believe any of these reports. VERY SURPRISED! Dan

CBT is only able to get away withthis because no one has gone to the attorney Genral to report this issue. The AG's office will be able to stop this company. There are a lot of people on this site talking about being scammed by this company and if allo f you complained the AG would have enough evidence to shut the company down. AG website link http://www.myfloridalegal.com/. File a complaint on the lending company and CBT it's the only way to stop them
