CCS The World's Largest Skateboard shop ripoff deceptive company dishonest false promises California
My first bad experience with CCS was when I ordered some stuff for my son via internet on August 30 2002,The Company was supposedly having difficulty with my credit card billing address,which they never notified me of.
I spent $34.00 on phone cards calling these people starting on the 9th of September at which time I was told the billing address they had was the one I requested they send to, I was then told to call my bank and verify and call them back so I did and everything matched.
The next time I called I was told all was well and the problem handled this to was on the 9th of Sept. On the 10th I went to the web site to track my order and again it was held up so again I called and spoke with someone and again was assured this was just a fluke and nothing to worry about.
Well, the 11th I did more of the same and again I got some run around and told this company independant from them in VA does all the approving and this was the problem even though they all showed thesame billing address, I agree to simmer down and wait for two days so I did.
On the 13th I called because the status was showing the same some 15 days after I made the order. Finally I get a manager so I can cancel this order because I don't trust anyone else at this point, Mr. Scott Toffer informs me that everything has been approved and there is no way to cancel at this stage, he also tells me he understands if I never order from them again but the problem was not an in house problem and this type of thing would never happen again and if I ever ordered from them again my shipping would be free keep the invoice as it will say the same thing I had his guarantee and I could call and talk to him if I had any trouble.
I finally received my merchandise on the 19th of Sept. My son talks me into ordering from them again.
Well, it turns out they are having a promo free shipping on any order of $90.00 or more from now until 11-30-02. I thought I made a mistake on my card info so I called them right away to staighten it out and ask why on the status of my order it was not showing all of my purchases but all of the price and to confirm the no shipping.
Well, about an hour later I checked the status and a shipping fee appeared that was not there before and I call my bank and they have on hold an amount I did not authorize some $14.00 in shipping.
I called and spoke with a Monica customer service supervisor and she toold me that this was added at the time of my order so I tell he I have a receipt of that order when it was made and the shipping amount was infact $0.00 and I had e-mailed it to her.
Now they tell me I can't talk to Scott they can't give out last names and they can not tell me when Scott works when they were able to before. In between all this I was on hold for too long each time.
I sent them an e-mail telling them what I that after the first time and they never reponded because I told them they sould compesate me for the money I was out trying to get them to do their jobs if they wanted to keep me as a customer. These people are completely dishonest and other things I dare to utter. I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with a company that is that incompitent and can't stand behind their word.
