Complaint Review: cedar towing - MPLS. Minnesota

I have been towing in the city of Mpls mn for about 25 years I eaven did some work for cedar towing on ocation . I had stopped by at a friends house to visit for a 1/2 hour or so and when i went out to get in my truck it was gone . I seen that this property was one of cedar towing's lots when i pulled into it.  i drove all the way in and turned around to go out i seen that all areas were posted for permit towing but as i was pulling up to the entrance of the drive i looked and thesection of the parking areas was not posted , there were no signs at all in this parking area. it had 7 spots and no signs si i parked there because i determaned it was fore visiters.  The property did not have a sign at the entrance stating the whole  property was enforced for permit parking only.  what said that my truck was a unautherized vehical when there was no posted signs that said i need a permit to be parked there.  there exquse was the property management did not want any visiters on tnat property from 10pm to 6am and that i had to pay them to get my truck . well i talked to the management of the property and explained the problem and they said they could not help me and that it was the responsability of the tennants to tell there visitaters that they wold not beable to park in the lot after 10 pm. Well this is fine  but it is because they are allowed to park anywere during the day. the problem here is that the entrance nor the area  I parked was not posted for permits at all . 

well i endid up waiting 3 to 4 days before i finaly was contacted one of the owners daudhters to discuss the probem.    I said that I needid to point out a problem at one of there properties, and that my truck was wrongfuly or illigally towed .  they did not have the right to tow it om the grounds that there was no signs posted where i parked or at the nntrance to the property that said i needid a permit to parh there .they would not release my truck and they would not even work with me at all .  i haee hung up on and treated like dirt also i was yslled at and treated with no respect at all . they said that there is not any need for a sign  or posting of the proerty and that the management of tha property wanted mo visiters there . i said that it has to be posted to bee enforced for permit parking and towing and that they had no right or authority to tow my truck. they would not release it or even give me a break on storage fees for the time it took for her to call me to discuss the matter> it was $285.00  for the ow and $35.00 a day storage . it costed me $460.00 th get my truck that should not have been towed.

They are under police investigation and also have manny class action suites going against them > the customer reports and ratings all say they are crooked or crooks shady and rip off artists they have been well known for this and there infiated prises as well as being vultures who will hide out and swoop in and take your car as soon as you go into a store or any thing as soon as you walk away from your vehical.
