Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My daughter heard an ad on the radio that Disney needed kids for upcoming shows and major films. She jotted down the 800 number and came in the door all excited and begging me to call. I did, sounded legit..I was told that they were holding AUDITIONS  and only select few would be  chosen. It also sounded legit bc a Disney Star from the Suite Life if Zack and Cody would be there. I got excited too. How cool was this going to be, what a great first experience for my daughter who has wanted in this industry for a year or so  now.

We get to Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center (made it more legit bc thats a top notch place) Saw hundreds of excited kids and moms, it was exciting, they had pop music BLARING and it was hectic..we all had to stand out of the ballroom and fill out forms until they were ready for our group to come in...at this point I am wondering why I am not seeing the Disney or Nickelodeon logo anywhere..hmm..red flag..ok so we get caled to go in the room and are seated by employees in an orderly fashion, btw we were crammed like sardines.I look around and the posters I see are for CELEBRITY ACTORS CAMP??? what the heck is that??? (red flag) anyway..everyone is seated and the upbeat music stops. A lady with a cheap suit on and make up that reminded me off tammy faye baker takes the microphone.

As soon as she started talking I knew we were in trouble..this was no audition this was a sales pitch. I had been duped and what made it worse was that MY CHILD would be the one to suffer..thats about as low as a scam artist can go. I wanted to walk out then but my daughter wanted to see Mr Moseby from Suite Life..and I didnt want her to remember this with me walking out upset. I sat through the whole ordeal.

I have to admit these guys are good at what they do. they get these kids hopes up that they are going to be the next major star, you could see the sparkle in the eyes of these little children who truly believed what these low life adults were PROMISING them.  They said that only a very few would get called back today and if you did not answer your phone they would not call you back but rather they would replace you with another child.

I knew the call would come...they wanted money not talent. My child ha never taken acting lessons and I heard her audition, she was so nervous she spoke very quietly and pauses and said uhhhh several times..I love my kid more than anything but I highly doubt her talent got us that callback, there were kids with experience, 4in wide portfolios etc and MY child was one of the 50 best out of 800? I highly doubt it, she went for the experience and to see Mr Moseby!!! (thankfully she understood when we left and I told her it was a scam) she just said "it was fun though and I got to see Mr Moseby and he is short haha)

She is a rare exception I am SURE, I saw the kids and parents who were genuinely believing what these people said.

Disny or Nickelodeon was not there and there were NO casting agents at all. I went thinking she was going on an AUDITION not to sign her up for a 5500 dollar" camp" . When I got the call today (I knew I would) that she was chosen they wanted cash immediately..I hung up..DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! This is a sad scam that breaks the hearts and crushes the dream of children

I have to say that I am very upset by this report. My daughter did not attend the camp yet. I have not paid them a dime YET!!! But let me tell you what this Man and his camp have done already for us.  My child had been accepted to the camp and we had not been able to afford the whole trip so we put it off till July 2013. We still have not paid for a thing to this date.

Out of the blue my husbands work sent him to LA for 2 weeks, with skymiles my duaghter and I where able to went with him. I informed Adrian that we would in the area and would like to meet him. He was in Fl and could not meet with us but gave my email address to Miss. Cameron Goodman. She contacted me right away and gave me her personal cell number. We spoke and she offered to coach my child for Auditions for less then what I pay for my duaghter to go to acting classes in our small town in TN. Here are famous working actors that helped us with out getting anything in return, and charging less then the gas it was going to take, for her to meet us for the coaching. Adrian also gave me the information for a private dance class so my child would not miss dance training. It ended up that the classes where run By Alison Stoner and Lindsey Taylor.  The Classes cost less per class then we pay in TN. I am cheap, I do not pay for things that I do not think are worth it. The dance class was amazing my child is dyeing to go back, My child said she learned a lot in one night and it was fun while she did it.

Adrian has answered every email/facebook message/ and phone call right away. He has been supportive and helpful. He even helped weed out what agents and managers he had heard of and had a good reputation.
I do have a friend that's son attended the camp in LA. Her son acting improved so much that after the camp I asked her what happened to the shy kid I know 3 weeks before. Her sons ability had increased 10 fold and he was out shining every other kid in our acting class in our home town. Including my own!!! My friend and her son where not ready to move to LA but every kid that attended the camp in LA was signed by agents and 80% of the kids where working right away. We are going to Adrians camp. I do not except my child to be signed by Disney. I do not think that paying for a camp or class will guarantee my child success. But the training I have seen come from this program is priceless. I think people that want to pay money instead of putting the time and work into their kids training and career are Niave and well lazy. Acting, singing, dancing is like any other sport or career, it takes time, training, effort, and commitment. My child has been working in our market for two years. She misses parties and other fun things to go to classes and workshops all the time. If your kid wants to be successful the kid has to work at it. I never hear of people sending their kids to football camp and then blaming the camp and cost of the camp for their kids not going pro. I for one am grateful for everything CAC and Adrian has done for us.  I am excited for my child, for the training she will be getting. I think the people that want to go to an audition in their home town and have their kid “be discovered” with no training are silly, unrealistic, and well.. plain old Naive. Like taking your kid to soccer for the first time and not understanding why they did not make the team. Adrian provides the opportunity for good training and exospore to agents and people that can help your kid, if your kid is talented enough. Not just for paying them money and showing up.

I think it's funny how you are "anonymous" and attacking Adrian's character without even knowing him personally. If he or his acting camp is any of those things you say they are then reveal yourself. (We know you won't) Anyway, anyone who knows Adrian will read this and laugh because you are obviously not in his life but merely someone from the outside looking in. Myself and all his fans and thousands of Facebook friends know the heart of this man. He has changed the lives of countless kids across the country and even myself...when he was my high school English teacher at Culver City High School. Adrian is an educated man with the heart for kids that is second to none. He simply created a program for kids that give them a chance to work with celebrities from Disney and Nick and gives them a shot at show business. After reading these complaints you speak of on Ripoff, NONE of them are from families who actually took his program or camp but seems to me, competitors and people who hate there is a cost for the camp and think he is selling Disney. The funny thing is he doesn't have to use the Disney name because him and his celebs ARE Disney. Also, I looked on his website and he is not selling Disney anywhere on his site like you claim. The word Disney is not even seen on the site so your claims are false. I personally never took his camp but I know him from being my High School English teacher and he personally changed my life. I love this man and will defend his character against anyone who tries to demean everything he has created. Regarding you calling him a liar, everyone knows that actors change their name at times and create a "Stage Name" and he has never shyed away form that. We called him Mr. A and knew his legal name and his stage name and we enjoyed watching him on TV while he was teaching us. I specifically remember one night watching him on "Alias" and then coming in the next day to class and he was teaching me. How cool is that? Bottom line is he is a proven and respected person and actor amongst his students, friends and fans. One "Anonymous" person will not affect his GREATNESS and those of you who want the truth, go on his Facebook and ask his thousands of friends who know the REAL Adrian. We love you Adrian and keep changing lives!!

May 2012 - Celebrity Actor Camp has complaints and a C minus rating from the BBB

#4Consumer Comment

Wed, May 09, 2012

Isn't it funny how CAC continues to file rebuttals to complaints on Rip Off Report?  The point is this: THE CELEBRITY ACTOR CAMP HAS COMPLAINTS - in fact, there are so many complaints on Rip Off Report that CAC can't rebut them fast enough.  There's a reason people complain.  There's a reason that they have a BELOW AVERAGE rating with the BBB (C-minus).  There's a reason there are complaints all over the internet about these guys.  How many red flags does a consumer need to avoid these guys?   Apparently A LOT.  People, do the research, trust your gut, and take a close look at what might turn out to be thousands of dollars in an investment in your child.

Ask Adrian (or better yet, ask Disney) if Celebrity Actor Camp has a legal right to use the Disney name, the names of its shows, and copyrighted promotional artwork and logos from those Disney Shows to sell their seminars.  My guess would be...um...no.

Adrian R'Mante lies about his age, lies about his name - why believe he  would not lie about those complaining here and everywhere about his company?

Moms and Dads be careful!  Think twice and check around before you spend your kid's college money on a probably legal but definitely expensive and exploitative scheme that tries so hard here and elsewhere to convince you they are legit.

California law contains certain requirements of advance-fee talent services and prohibitions against certain practices.  If the company promises you auditions or employment, or if they even ask you for a fee in advance, a talent service is considered to come under the provisions of this law.  Under the law, they are not allowed to charge you, for example, to provide photographs, filmstrips, audition tapes or videotapes, lessons or training.

By law, you are entitled to a refund of anything you pay to an advance-fee talent agency if you do not receive the services you were led to believe would be performed.  The refund is to be made with 48 hours of your request for it.

Additionally, you have the right to cancel your contract with the agency for any reason within 10 business days of the date of the contract.  If you cancel, your payment is to be returned within 10 business days.

If your written contract does not inform you of your right to a refund or to cancel, you may demand your refund or cancel your contract at any time, without regard to these time limits.  If your money is not returned within the 48 hours or 10 days, respectively, the company is required to refund double your money.

Miami Mother DEFENDS Celebrity Actors Camp Name!!

#8UPDATE Employee

Tue, July 26, 2011

If you truly research the ripoff reports about CAC you will find that Marilyn Jusino is behind defaming and slandering our name and the person behind the news report. (she is the black haired lady in the news report who is spewing lies) This has become a legal matter and a lawsuit against her is forthcoming for slander and defamation of character. I've said it before and I will continue to say the truth and that is Marilyn Jusino's sister Abby PARTICIPATED in the camp regardless of what she is saying in the news report and it will be proven in our slander case. I have records of her signing Abby into camp and she signed Abby out of camp. Her signature/initials are documented on the sign-in sheets. Finally, her attendance will be proven because we have photos of Abby and the celebrities that were taken at the camp when she attended. We are an acting camp and never claim to be a school, an agency or that we are Disney. She is simply lying because you can visit our website and you will NOT see one advertisement for Disney or "Do you wanna be on Disney" but just the shows that represent our celebrities. www.celebrityactorscamp.com CAC has Disney and Nickelodeon Stars that teach the kids and one of our Disney celebrities is an actor and director for The Disney Channel...these are just the FACTS. Our radio advertisement NEVER once says, "Come audition for Disney" or "We are having auditions for Disney." Furthermore, our celebrities still work for Disney and Nickelodeon so if we were using their name illegally then there would be an issue from Disney but there is not because we, simply, don't use the Disney name. We have been upfront from day one of our inception...not to mention, we are called Celebrity Actors CAMP not academy, school, Disney but CAMP. Any CAMP you sign up for includes fees and we are no different. We are a high level TV and Film acting camp program where our kids are taught by successful celebrities. For the record, an average acting class that is any good ranges from $40 to $60 an hour per class and I want to share that our average hour rate is $65-$75 for our highest level of training which includes 75 hours over 6 weeks. Furthermore, we are an acting PROGRAM and not an acting CLASS, big difference. Our success rate speaks for itself and so do our parents. When our parents heard this "NEWS" report was going to air they flooded channel 9 news lines with phone calls to defend our name. If you listen closely to the end of the report Todd clearly says that CAC has several kids on National TV and MANY families called them expressing their happiness with the program. Keep in mind, Marilyn is one side of the story and from a lady who and I quote, "is out to make our lives a living hell!!"  Please read a parents message who defends the program and what it TRULY represents followed by several success stories from the camp which proves we are the real deal! #2 Consumer Comment Celebrity Actors Camp changed our lives AUTHOR: AnnieB - miami (United States of America) SUBMITTED: 2011 Monday I was actually on this site researching a different company when I ran across the negative comment posted about the Celebrity Actor's Camp and although I've never done this before I felt compelled to defend the Camp's good name.

My daughter recently completed the program in Miami, Florida and I must say, the program has changed our lives.   Within 24 hours of completing the program she had been accepted by a Talent agency.  Within 48 hours of completing the program she received her first audition- a taped read for a new Fox Pilot.   Her next audition is this Thursday for a clothing store commercial and I am hoping the roller coaster ride does not stop anytime soon. The Celebrity Actors Camp program consists of 8-10 all day acting workshops that take place on the weekends over the course of 8-9 weeks.  Yes, it is expensive, HOWEVER, that being said when you break it down week by week, you get what you pay for.  Where else can you find acting classes tailored to children being taught by actual working actors.   Phill Lewis flew into Miami the same day he had been filming on "Raising Hope".   You want acting classes taught by a nobody who's career never made it anywhere you can find them starting from $299.00.   You want a class taught by working actors who are also caring individuals, who genuinely want to "fast track" your child's career, then Celebrity Actor's Camp is the way to go.

I mean,  the casting director from Nickelodeon studios in Hollywood California actually knows my daughter's name, just that connection alone is PRICELESS. During the course of the 9 weeks of training my daughters acting skills grew in leaps and bounds.   Adrian R'Mante and his wonderful staff have perfected the process with training for Commercials, Sitcom TV, Drama TV, Film and Theater.   They will teach your child the proper steps to "nail" an audition and as an added bonus, turn out a more confidant individual.  They are the "real deal".   If your child has acting in their blood, then you should hope and wish and pray that they make the cut and get accepted into Celebrity Actors Camp.

It could save you years of beating your head against the wall to get introduced to the right people. Please check out the recent press releases on a few of our campers successes and also we have just had one of our campers book a series regular role on a DISNEY Channel TV show....I encourage you to do research before believing Marilyn's slander. Google search: Leah Lewis "Madison High" She is posted on our website under"Success Story."  It is sad that one lady is trying to defame 3 years of hard work and SUCCESS!!

To those of you who have read Shannon's evil and mean hearted blog above, please know that she has never participated in the camp. She has no foundation to make such negative comments about a company she has never attended or know anything about. I will not try to defend or write a rebuttal to person who has no merit from which she speaks but I will let our families who have ACTUALLY participated in the camp speak for us. Please read a few of many testimonials from actual campers and parents that have attended the camp. Also, read about the opportunities they received within the camp from agents, real auditions, jobs they booked and the Disney and Nickelodeon celebrities that trained them. Our families will speak for us:

You are both truly wonderful people and your program is outstanding. To think that in eight weeks you may have shaped Isabella's whole future. I am forever grateful. If you ever need anyone to write a testimonial about the outstanding awesomeness of your camp, please just let me know. Also to update you on things happening here. Monday at 12:14 p.m. I received a call from The Green Talent Agency here in Miami and Isabella has an appointment scheduled for an interview on Monday, February 21, 2011. Then last night at around 8:00 p.m. Lauren from The Green Talent Agency emailed a script for Isabella to memorize. This Thursday they want to tape her reading for the role of "Raquel" in a new pilot from Fox called Little in Common. Even without having done her interview! Wow, this is all going so fast it seems a bit surreal.

Thanks for everything, Annie And Isa

This Press Release alone proves that Shannon from Nashville is incorrect with her hateful, angry and unwarranted blog.

I always wanted to break into the acting business and be on television but Celebrity Actors Camp actually helped make my dream possible."

Miami, FL (PRWEB) February 25, 2011

Susana Hoyos, a local teen from Celebrity Actors Camp in Miami, has just been cast to star in Nickelodeon Latin Americas Grachi, the networks new live-action television program for teens and her television debut. Shot in Miami, the comedy series follows Grachi, a young girl who must learn to use her new found magical powers all while coping with her school, boys and just growing up. Grachi will be produced in Spanish and will be released in Latin America this spring. Susana Hoyos and her show, Grachi will also be distributed in the United States, Latin America and Europe. Hoyos, who recently attended Phill Lewis and Adrian R'Mantes Celebrity Actors Camp in Miami and is represented by Lauren Greene from the Green Agency, credits her acting debut to her recent camp experience and training.I always wanted to break into the acting business and be on television, said Hoyos, but Celebrity Actors Camp actually helped make my dream possible. If done correctly, acting camps can provide both professional and personal growth opportunities for young children and teenagers. The experience of individualized camp structure and emphasis on commercials, television and film gives attendees greater understanding of acting and the multi-faceted opportunities that accompany the experience including increased confidence in acting abilities and pride in accomplishments. Adrian R'Mante, who can currently be seen on the Disney Channel and Saturday mornings on ABC playing the role of Esteban on the hit television series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, offers a six week celebrity acting camp taught by celebrities in cities across the United States and Canada. I dont think it should be that hard for kids and teenagers to follow their dream of acting. They just need training, confidence, true knowledge of the business and a few tricks to break into the Hollywood, says R'Mante. Its one thing to teach acting but its another thing to actually live in Hollywood and make a living as a professional actor on television. We want to pass this knowledge on the next generation of young actors and their parents. Graduates of Celebrity Actors Camp have appeared in hits including NBCs Parenthood, Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp, and Modern Family to name a few.

Shannon is speculating and making accusations that are simply false, hurtful and just plain mean hearted with no facts. The only negative reports online about CAC is by Shannon who has never participated in our camp program. Anyone in the business knows that Disney Channel never does an open search for kids but they hire casting directors to search for them and Celebrity Actors Camp works with those Casting Directors. I encourage readers to please visit our websites for those affiliated casting directors and also please read our passionate testimonials, letters of appreciation and our awesome success stories. This celebrity camp has open many doors for young artists and will continue to do so with passion, love and most importantly care.
