I am a former employee of cellular express plus and if you decide to work or buy anything from them you are out of your mind to do so.As an employee I have proof that they deduct 8 to 10 thousand dollars a month in employee deductions. Do the math by the year. Its allot of money. We are also forced to sell out dated phones, That we charge 0 to 50 dollars apiece. Further more as a manager, I have caught employees stealing and were not allowed to fire them. The employees were allowed to keep stealing or transferred to another store. Then deductions would be taken out of remaining  staffs checks including myself. Phones magically appear and disappear on inventory count sheets. So corporate then would deduct monies out of checks on product that was never received. Any employee that quits, gets fired or gives notice, Will never receive commission checks.


 


We were routinely threatened with firing and fines on anything we would do. You are told to work off the clock and if you don't like it guess what, Your Fired. If you punch in early, deduction, punch in late, deduction, Inventory late (even though corporate sent it late), deduction, Returning a phone to Att with everything in box (they say its incomplete), deduction. I can go on and on, needless to say its creative deductions. The company as a whole brings in $300,000 in gross profit a month. You would think they wouldn't nickle and dime employees and customers, But they do.


 


Employees are trained to deceive customers and add on features that they don't want or need, causing customers in increase in their phone bill by $5 to $30 a month. Be very aware they look like Att, sound like Att until you try to get a refund. Then its sorry we are cellular express plus, you signed the return policy and there is nothing I can do for you, BY THE WAY HAVE A GREAT DAY!!! If you buy an accessory Do not ever think you will get your money back, exchange only and your out of luck if I don't have it.


 


Chris Kelly, Jason Donahey, Teresa Dantin, Patricia Kraynik and his wonderful mother Joanne Kelley are about as crooked as it gets and I still cannot believe Att lets them still do business, using there name. After working and have been robbed by The Gang, I would even stay away from Att, Who knows how many other crooked companies the have working for them. In speaking to Att core levels, They know allot of whats going on, but do nothing to protect their name. What does that say about them?


 


They sell separate phone insurance, that's hit or miss in receiving your claim. Sometimes you get it sometimes you don't and when you don't guess what? You are on your own! Not to mention the refurb phone they sell that have no warranty  on them from Att and they send you to the warranty center and they tell you you need to go back to where you bought it from. Only if you throw a big enough fit you might get your money back but if its after 30 days you are still committed to Att's contract.  I am very interested in the class action against them, If you have any info, Please respond.


 


All of this is BUYERS AND NEW EMPLOYEES BEWARE!!!!!! IF YOU THINK YOU WILL WIN PROBABLY NOT, CELLULAR EXPRESS PLUS HAS SCAMMING, STEALING FROM EMPLOYEES AND COMMITTING FRAUD TO A SCIENCE!!!

I was an employee in two of the first stores in the Lakeland,Tampa Area.

Every thing posted above this is 100% true. I saw it first hand and experienced it in my store. I was hired as a sales rep  with the promise of management promotion once another location opened.   The commissions are reconciled before you every get them..My estimate commission for my first month was 350.00 dollars I received 19.00 due to charge backs for transactions I had no notification of... The answer from corp was to research it...I had returns for customers that where not even mine charged back from my commissions because I was unlucky enough to process it in the system. After two months of fighting and calling corp, I still had to provide tracking information and a return authorization with shipping confirmation before the would issue a check back to me.
 
 Likewise three of my paychecks were processed incorrectly so I only received half of my check. Upon notifying management I was greeted with a response that it was not their problem and that they would have to wait to the next pay cycle to resolve it.

I had numerous issues with pay and management , they are a horrible company to work for...in the three months I worked there employee turn over was 95%. The only people that still work there are upper management from melbourne.

Six store employees..one district manager and one store manager or more have quit locally in three months.
