Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I had a cellphone with CellularOne, and it was stolen. I even had insurance on it, if it was lost or stolen. But they still were no help. I was billed about $300, $200 of it was the Early Cancellation Fee, and the rest was from the bills I guess.

I wrote to the company, and they want me to pay the $300 plus more for a new phone and service. I think they were UN-FAIR and not very helpful with their automated responces. I think I should warn more people not to do business with them!

Steve is right. Anita, your report does not make any sense. If you have insurrance, you make the claim get billed the deductable (50, in this case) and go on your merry way with new phone and your service. They don't just cancel your service. You must have let bills lapse or something. So I guess my question is, how can you state that the company did not help you when you can't even give details or specify what exactly the issue at hand is? Did you get a new phone or did you not?

Anyways..I am not going to even go into what your last subject heading was...There is NO possible way that a phone company can just cancel your account without you asking and putting in a cancellation notice unless you were so past due that maybe you stopped paying your bills they had to cancel it and it went to collections in that case you would owe ETF...but I know for a fact that the Cellular One owned by Dobson Cellular will not cancel your account just because they felt like it because you had your phone stolen...You also might want to put in your report which Cellular One you are with...Cellular One is a franchise and you could be with one that is owned by Western Wireless or Alltel... but again your report does not make SENSE...i feel there is more to the story you are not going to tell to make yourself look better....and we probably will never know the other side because we do not know your account # or anything to look it up.

I did not cancel the account, I called Cellular One to see what am I suppose to do about it, CELLULAR ONE canceled it. I DID NOT. And am I suppose to trust a company that cannot spell correctly? I think I made "SENSE" with my report.

does not make since

Anita, Your ripoff does not make since. So you lost your phone..and you have phone insurance? Ok so then you would call the insurance company (seperate company from Cellular One) they would file your claim for you...you would have to pay your deductible (most phone insurance companies charge 50.00) they would send you a refurbished or new phone....now you say we were not helpful but by the looks of your ripoff you were charged Early term fees? Did you cancel your service after your phone was stolen? If so then you ripped yourself off by having to pay ETF's...Sounds to me after your phone was stolen you thought it was ok to cancel services since you know you had the phone insurance...VERY WRONG!...sorry your having to pay an ETF but you are the one that caused this onto yourself.
