I purchased a used car at this dealership. We agreed on a fair price, which included all tax, fees, and lic. I also had a trade in which would bring the price down. The contract when I got home had added tax, fees, and license, and was 3000 extra dollars.High blue book was 3500 less than I paid. When I called back, less than 12 hr later, they were unsympathetic. Although I had two witnesses on the original deal, they simply said they couldn't do anything "you signed the deal". They said they did not have a three day return policy, but I could trade up. I could have purchased a new vehicle at their dealership for the same price as they charged me for a used car but it would still cost more with the fees, lic, etc... I was very unhappy and did not want another deal from them.

After that they would not return my calls. When I went back to cancel my warrenty, I was told my contract was upstairs "locked up", the finance guy wanted to rewrite my contract without the warrenty...yet would not rewrite the contract to reflect the real agreement we had made. I went to Centennial Hyundai and traded the car, I was upside down in the car, but they gave me the same model car, only brand new, with a warrenty & with only a $30 bump in payment!!! By the way I'm one of those rare people with 800 + credit. It doesn't matter who you are; A rip off is a Rip off!

Don't deal with Centennial Toyota, they are not true to their word!

This is not unusual in this town as I noted on your site, wish I had found this site before I purchased!

WHY don't you want to HELP the people who are getting BURNED & RIPPED OFF by Toyota??????!! It is POSSIBLE that this customer BELIEVED what the Salesperson was telling him, correct?????????????????????????????????? Should we ALWAYS assume that every transaction in America is a transaction based on- LIES, DECEPTION & MANIPULATION???? If that's the case, then EVERYTIME we go into the grocery store we should open each box of cereal to make sure it's cereal in the box rather than sawdust, CORRECT??? Perhaps we should take a one gallon container with us every time we get gasoline and make sure that the gas pumps aren't 'RIGGED' to deceive us, HUH????????? Maybe we should examine every product we ever buy and send it to a lab to insure that there are no harmful chemicals in that product that might cause cancer, RIGHT??????? Hey Karl from Clovis? Check your UNDERWEAR!!! It might be defective!!!!! I'm Karl, from Colorado, and I approve this 'Update'. P.S. Make sure to 'Google' this- RIP OFF REPORT TOYOTA CHRISTMAS SONG #2, and go to that Ripoff Report that was posted on 9-3-2007. Guess what? Toyota's CEO, Jim Press, QUIT his position with Toyota 3 DAYS AFTER THAT SONG WAS POSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Write a song- he'll be gone!!!! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!!

What happened? Did the contract suddenly change on the way home? Amazing! What the problem was is that you did not read the contract before you signed it. You beleived a salesman. ROR is full of "complaints" against dealerships because the buyer did not read a contract AT THE DEALERSHIP before he signed it. Who is at fault here? I'm not siding with the Toyota dealership. I wouldn't have a Toyota if it was free but I think that if more people read contracts before they signed them and walked out if the contract was not to their liking there would be a lot less complaints.
