My child was circumcised by a doctor at a Center for Women's Health at Evergreen on 8/24/11. It was clearly obvious not long after the procedure that things didn't look right. We took him to the pediatrician several times regarding this issue and he tried to pull the skin back forcefully causing my child to bleed and be in extreme pain. We tried soaking it to see if this would help in pulling the skin back. It did not. Over time, this became very stressful wondering if my child would grow up having physical pain, or issues or emotional issues regarding this improperly done circumcision. I decided to take him to a Urologist at Children's Hospital who did indeed confirm that the original circumcision had been done incorrectly, and for medical reasons was necessary to have corrected. (My insurance even covered it this time.)  I notified the original doctors office asking for a full refund.( My insurance did not cover this as it was elective.) They told me they would not , and really did not show any respect or care about what I was going through. My child had to be put under with anesthesia which he did not come out of very well after having a laryngeal spasm and the nurses had to force oxygen into his lungs to get him to breathe. This whole experience has been a complete nightmare and very traumatic for me and my child.

I cannot believe the lack of compassion that administrators Tracy Hudson and Margaret (Maggie) Harris had for what my child and I had to be put through, and that they would not even attempt to try and make the situation any better or give a genuine apology. This clearly shows that this place only cares about the money. This is not the first issue I have had with these people showing their lack of concern for my health over money. 

I thought my credit card payment to cover this circumcision had gone through. It hadn't, and I didn't know, and when I moved and didn't receive a bill a new bill they sent me to collections, which I also didnt know about. When I had a medical emergency I called to talk to a nurse and 2 hours go by and no return call back. I call back a 3rd time and they tell me they can't see me because I had been sent to collections. I offer to pay in full right then and they tell me it won't help. They didn't even have the courtesy to call me back and let me know this and left me hanging for 3 hours.

I was in horrible pain and needed to be seen by a doctor as soon as possible and explained this on the phone and the lady at booking keeping was very rude when I explained i moved and would pay and she still wouldnt help. I went to another doctor and I was scheduled for an immediate CT scan and it turned out I had a kidney infection.

I know my doctor just had a baby August 4th, so I just hope she understands how traumatic this experience has been and how upset I am over their lack of concern for a serious situation. I haven't posted her name because other then this I really liked her, and I feel bad because I know she is a fairly new doctor.

I am posting this because I am not happy about the whole circumcision issue, and how this healthcare center has treated me.
