Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I made an appointment to Cerritos dealer last May 17, 2007, For a recall on a brake light switch on 2004 Suzuki Forenza. I made the appointment on time and they told me that they do not have the brake light switch for my car and need to order. I told them that okay I will re schedule the appointment as soon as you get the brake switch. I call them back to find out if the switch was there and its there. I went back May 23,2007 To fix the recall. the customer service rep. Told me that my car was due for service, I told him that I am aware of that but as of now I just would like to fix my recall brake switch. After 30 mins my car was done. As I walk out from the service dealer and driving on the freeway suddenly my engine service light came on.

I know that there is nothing wrong with my car, so I call them back to find out what happen, and the dealer said that the brake light switch have nothing to do with the engine service light. Which is I already know. I told them that if there's nothing to do with my brake switch how come the engine service light came on. And they responded that maybe something wrong with the car and they want me to bring back the car for diagnostic test and charge me for $90.00 for start and if they find out more the charges will be done. I told the service technician that there is nothing wrong with my car you probably did something bad. They denied it.

The following day I went to my friends house he is an automotive technician of Mercedez benz. He have plenty of diagnostic test and we trouble shoot why the service engine light came on.When we install the ODU II instrument it gave as a code of P0113 as we look more for the code we found out that the IET which is Intake Air Temperature sensor connector was disconnected and the wire was hiding under the hoses of the air filter so we connected back the wire and suddenly the service light went off we found out the problem without any replacement of parts, My friend told me that this connector was not easily get loose unless somebody did it for the purpose of going back again to them and charge me for several hundred of dollar. for no apparent reason.

I was not ripped off, but I would like to report this experience because I think they always do this to other customer that have no knowledge about there car. I am hoping that this report will alarm the media or somebody have them investigate to stop ripping off other customer. This service dealer was very bad service and I am hoping that someday they will be catch for wrong doing to other people....I did call the manager service department but unfortunately he was not there I just leave a message to his answering machine. I also talk to the service cutomer technician and of course they will denied everything. Thank you very much for reading my report. I can demonstrate to them what they did to my car in order to get the service engine light they are really good but their wrong doing will not succeed they wiil get caught soon . Hoping for action to be done.
