Certified Electric, CA Lic. 789089, ripped me off for nothing. Poway California
I called for an electrician to check my Circuit Breakers. I had overloaded a circuit and it blew out the electricity to the circuit. I went to the circuit box and saw one circuit between on and off. I tried to turn it off and then on, I did that several times. But while in the on position, I could not get the switches and plugs to work. I checked all the other circuits too, but they were fine. Eventually I gave up and disconnected the microwave that was connected to the troubled circuit and I also left the circuit off.
The electrician showed and had me fill out the invoice/contract before he started to guarantee the $47.50 service fee. Immediately after signing the contract I opened the Circuit Breaker box and the circuit was in the center position, not the off position as I had left it. As the electrician was finishing the paper work he said that its just not reset and proceeded to turn it off and on. It now stayed in the on position and the electricity to that circuit was working.
The electrician then said that I owed $137.00, which I paid by check.
As he left, he said, "Well now you learned something."
Yeah that I was ripped off!!
I wrote the company immediately and sent the letter, they never called or wrote back.
