Mark Chamberlain is a liar and a scam artist. He knows that he is over charging you for work that you can complete. Yes, your work will look comparable to his (if not better). Mark Chamberlain's site claims that he has done photo restoration for over 30 years. Mark Chamberlain should be a very accomplished professional in this line of work. The operative word is should be; you the consumer can do the exact same quality of work at any place that offers you a scanner and photo software to manipulate the picture.
Here is an example in price $150 Mark Chamberlain (remember he wants cash and his comment that he will take a check, yes he will take the check and keep your items hostage until the check has cleared and he has cash in his pocket) vs $10 what you can do. You can make alot of attempts for $150. The quality will look the same! Mark Chamberlain will lie after everything is done, stating that you were happy (liar) with his work, he will say you signed the paper for the work, remember he has the cash already you have no recourse to cancel a check, and that he did a job you asked for. Mark Chamberlain will offer no solution, he will take your cash and walk away.
Please note the BBB of Chicago will not help and his A+ rating shouldn't be there, he is a scam artist and a liar and he knows it. Please note all the company names he has. Why does a company that has been in business for over 30 years have multiple names if they are good at what they do? Mark Chamberlain is not an ethical businessman and will not do your job in good faith. Mark Chamberlain will over charge you, take your money and walk away saying he did a job. The money you paid will not match the quality of work.
