Changing Faces Consulting, And/or Mylai Tenner The Gold Boot Guy, Changing Faces Consulting, Affordable Urban Clothing NON PAYING CUSTOMER who refuses to pay his bill Eden Prairie, Minnesota
I did some graphic design work for Mylai Tenner in mid to late 2008 and he has yet to pay me a single cent for the work I have done for him in this period.
The work I did specifically was for The Gold Boot Guy company.
I have asked him numerous times to pay what he owes me, but every time he comes up with empty promises, excuses & lies.
At one time his "wife" emailed me saying that he was hospitalised.
He also started telling me that he lost his house due to the financial crisis and that him and his family are in a shelter. He also said his credit cards & bank accounts were frozen and YET he's opening up new businesses and posting projects on Elance with budgets up to $10,000.
Ask yourself, if you just lost your house and you were living in a shelter like this guy claimed to be, where on earth are you going to find the money to pay for these projects???
Well the answer is quite simple, Mr Tenner is telling Porky Pies (Lies).
After making Mr Tenner aware of the fact that I don't believe a single word, he refuses to respond to any of my emails because he has ran out of bs to tell me.
I emailed him stating that I will put this report in if he didn't pay me, haven't heard from him since and that was in May 2009.
I have all the corresponding emails to prove all of this, and if you visit one of his websites http://www.thegoldbootguy.com/articles.php you will see that he has actually put some of the articles I have designed on his website, of course without paying me anything.
I even have a contract that he made up for the initial work for a 30 Day Net Agreement. The longest 30-day NET Agreement in history.
My advice to all you people out there is, stay away from this guy and DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT DO ANYTHING FOR MYLAI TENNER as you will more than likely be RIPPED-OFF and never see a single cent.

Well I had such a great laugh on the TV show and both parties shared their own story of the event. I just had to come find this site and the two parties involved. I don't know either party but I would have no problems hiring Changing Faces Consulting to do any of my needed work. They are more than fair and showed great self control when the "goldenboot" was trying to put their foot into where "the sun don't shine". Instead I believe the "goldenboot" ended up in their own mouth. HAHA (sorry I had to laugh just a bit more)
In order to be a successful person it is important for some to seek a person to develop and model what it takes to be successful in life. What I saw on TV was just the opposite. You see 'sweet and sour does not come out of the same well". I know that most successful people do not:
1. Publish anything that is negative about anyone or anything. You break down communications when you do that.
2. Never burn or in this case "blow up" bridges. HAHA I don't need to say anything more about this based on the plaintiff's own words.
3. It is always best to listen than to speak. Because you speak more or yell louder does NOT prove you are right. Self control was definitely shown by the defendant. She did a great job letting the plaintiff tell us everything they know or thought they knew.
4. The mark of a leader is that they can follow. Some times it is best to get some training before you can train. The plaintiff was incapable of following the directions of the judge because they wanted to take control of the whole court.
5. Do not accuse without proof. I saw the looks on the crowd when the plaintiff played the 'race card'. All peoples involved gave a sigh of disbelief and a negative response accusing the defendant of being prejudice.
There are other points that could be made but as most leaders know, if you can get 3-5 points across in one interaction then you have succeeded in your communication.
I would hope that the plaintiff will go get some anger management courses and practice some of what is taught.
