Chapel Of Love / Garden Of Love ripoff Las Vegas Nevada
I was married at the Chapel of Love, 1431 Las Vegas Blvd. So. on July 24, 2005. I was promised 1 8x10 picture per the package I paid for.
Employees Hector and Adam offered 6 additional pictures on disc if I chose to use their chapel, which I did. After the ceremony we did not receive any pictures. I assumed they were being mailed. When they did not arrive I called the chapel to to follow up and see when I could expect to receive my pictures. I spoke to Ambrosia who said she would look for my pictures and call me back. She did not return my call. I called her again the following day and again, she said she would look and call me back and did not. The same thing happened with a girl named Adrianna a few days later. I then spoke to Cheryl and the same thing happened- no call back.
Then I was told a few days later by a man that they had been mailed to me. They never arrived. I called numerous times each time pleading that someone help me get my pictures. Each time i was promised they would find them and call me back but they never returned my calls. Finally, Mike the assistant chapel director then told me that pictures are disposed of 5 days after the ceremony and that there was nothing they could do. I made repeated requests with the chapel and pleaded for help. They employees were rude and have not returned my many phone calls. I think its only fair that they give me what they promised which are my wedding pictures. These are the only photos that I have of my wedding and I am completely traumatized over this situation. I called again today and finally got the manager, Sierra, and she told me that there is not an employee named Mike and they do not have an assistant chapel director. I have been lied to and blown off for over a month now.
I deserve my wedding pictures and the public deserves to know how this chapel treats people. They do not care about LOVE or people once they have collected their fees.

During the course of your marriage there will be several things to be completely traumatized about. This ain't one of them. You, however, should be very upset. This is a once in a lifetime event. Next time you call them, tell them that you are breaking out your wedding dress (if you still have it) or renting another similar dress and gathering all the people involved with the wedding. You will be returning to their chapel at their expense to have new pictures taken. True, it's not the same as if the pictures had been taken on that day, but at least you'll have something. If they refuse take them to small claims court to get back the cost of the service and possible the cost of rentals to have new pictures taken. Congratulations and best wishes on your marriage.
