Charles H Moffatt Promised my a Loan Modification Plainfield New Jersey
I had fallen on hard times and was unable to make my mortgage payment with Selene Financial Group. I was contacted by a gentleman named Isiah Baker and was promised that they could reduce my mortgage payment from $2300/month to $1700/month. I sent them all my personal information for approximately an entire year and they kept asking me for updated payment stubbs. They almost guaranteed that they would accomplish getting my Loan Modification and that all the arears mortgage payments that I didn't make would not be an issue with the Lender. Every month they were asking for additional documents, some of which I submitted twice. And then finally about a month ago they said the Lender was not willing to negotiate a Loan Modification. I could have done that myself. I was no better off than when I starting with Dorchester Law. Now I am facing Foreclosure and almost assuredly anticipating a sheriff's sale shortly. Their advice was to file Chapter 7, but I think that is the directiont they give all their clients after milking them out of their money.

YOU are facing a foreclosure NOT because of what they did or did not do. YOU are facing foreclosure because YOU failed to make on time payments!
