Nice sales guy, customer service (communicating the 3 week install process) through the process was tough but we worked through it, until I asked for repairs of the concrete, and a pool heater installed after the pool was put in last month.

 

The first issue was the concrete used around the pool - we were given no options on type (sandstone), color (brown), etc - so with no options provided we got sidewalk quality concrete around our pool. The very rocky, granular, and sharp kind. It was jagged/rigid/sharp, and cut my sons and my toes when we gently brushing against the pool coping, when getting in and out of the pool. This is obviously the incorrect concrete for pool decking and it shows.

 

We had Charleston Pool and Spa come out 09/13/16 and sand down the jagged edges, which has now unfortunately exposed the molding (foam) underneath the concrete, and taken larger chunks out as well. Thickness of the concrete was supposed to be 3.5 inches around the pool, yet it is probably 1 mm around the edge of the pool where the foam is exposed.

 

The concrete is in need of repair, and our brand new pool, we are told by the owner of Charleston pool and spa "what the f*** is wrong with you?"

 

Analogy - I paid a premium amount for a brand new car, and received my brand new car with dings and scratches, so I bring it back into the dealer for repair and they further damage my new car. I am then told I am crazy by the installer, with no option/offer to have repairs done. All I want is the repairs done to the concrete.

 

Don't go near this place, they do poor work, and all they care about is your money and their reputation, which has many less customers now, buyer beware, don't be a victim.

 

This is the most unprofessional company - not only insulting, but not willing to make their wrongs right. They got my money and they don't care about making anything right.

 

They are dishonest with their workmanship - I did not get what I purchased.

 

I was sold on the best concrete guys in the industry, and received the cheapest most low balled concrete in the industry - terrible work! I watched mutiple guys come to bid on concrete and electrical work, they are not keeping your pool quality of any interest to them.

 

I explained my extreme discontent to the store owner via email because he would not answer my phone calls 9/12/16, after paying a lot of money for this pool, and here was his response at 02:30am last night:

 

As you can see from the additional reviews - "THE OWNER" (aka David Griggs) gave himself "5 stars" FOR HIS OWN COMPANY. That shows the morality of this company, to attempt to maintain "better" ratings than they earned.

 

Any business owner that cusses at a customer, with no resolution or help offered 30 days after pool installation, is obviously is not running the type of business you need to be working with.

 

BUYER BEWARE!

I even used Cash to help them with "credit card fees", during payment - and this is what I got in return.
